BMTSoulja1 Posted September 22, 2007 Report Posted September 22, 2007 if anybody run wild for nederland it will be roy. bass is not good. the other back from last year was far better than bass. that's not saying much about bass. i watched in the first half of brenham how this kid was being tackled with arm tackling.I'm telling you, dude was a beast, man! ;D
vhs Posted September 22, 2007 Report Posted September 22, 2007 Completing some passes every now and then sure would help Vidor open things up a little bit for those powerful backs. Hopefully things will start clicking for the offense this week.
baddog Posted September 22, 2007 Report Posted September 22, 2007 Vidors D has played well this year against some very good scrambling QBs. I do believe they will get pressure on Neds QB and I dont believe he has the scrambling ability that some of the other QBs we have seen(Livingston and St pius) I say its close within 7 either way. I work with some guys from Vidor and they said Livingston has some huge linemen. I also read about them on this board. I know Brenham had some big guys up front and we were able to play some decent defense against them. Those ice-cream Germans are pretty big alright.I think Ned takes this by 24-10.
revenge of 1964 Posted September 22, 2007 Report Posted September 22, 2007 I WOULD LIKE TO SEE CHRIS #10 THROWING TO ROMAN #17 THEN SEE VIDORS RUN GAME
piratefan Posted September 22, 2007 Report Posted September 22, 2007 Roman is very fast.We need to execute the plays a little better, and score when we are in the red zone and we will be ok. We will be ready for Nederland
Wise Guy Posted September 22, 2007 Report Posted September 22, 2007 Nederland's defense will be too much for Vidor. Bellow will have 3 TD's, and Asa will have 2 of them, Lil Bass runs wild on Vidor's SOFT run D, and Nederland's D scores on an INT. Nederland 35 - Vidor 10!I don't know what you're talking about Titan, but Bass is legit. He was finally back to 100% when Nederland played Waller. He had a little over 70 yards on 8 rushes, and 25 receiving yards on 2 receptions. He would've been around the century mark in rushing yards, but he had 2 15+ yard carries called back for holding. The reason he was getting stopped against Brenham was because there were 3 or more guys in the backfield every time he touched the ball. And every time he got a carry he broke the first tackle and then would get neck-tied by the next guy.I think you should know the whole situation before opening your mouth, PATitan.
Guest 87CRU79 Posted September 22, 2007 Report Posted September 22, 2007 The 'Dog Defense will overwhelm a VERY one dimensional Vidor offense!
Ned11str8 Posted September 22, 2007 Report Posted September 22, 2007 The 'Dog Defense will overwhelm a VERY one dimensional Vidor offense!very one dimensional is a big time understatement!!
Guest Penny Posted September 23, 2007 Report Posted September 23, 2007 Titan, pick another game to that Nederland's gonna lose... cause it WILL NOT be this one. This is Nederland's homecoming, I have to think this team remembers the loss last year, Neumann will have these Dogs so high, and that plays into the hands of our outstanding defense... they will be flying to the football. I don't see Nederland losing this game... too much going for the Dogs this week.
BHSCougars Posted September 23, 2007 Report Posted September 23, 2007 Best of luck BIG NED....... I'm picking the dogs 28-7
Guest Nederland Bulldogs Posted September 23, 2007 Report Posted September 23, 2007 34-17 sounds about right.
jake94 Posted September 23, 2007 Report Posted September 23, 2007 Nederland 24Vidor 13I think the Dogs will win, but I hope we aren't taking Vidor lightly. They are always up to play us.
PNG Proud Posted September 23, 2007 Report Posted September 23, 2007 I'm going with the obvious. Nederland by 20 pts.

Ned11str8 Posted September 23, 2007 Report Posted September 23, 2007 Did you go with the obvious last year to?This isn't last year and both teams have changed . It just so happens that Ned made a change for the better.
pirate87 Posted September 23, 2007 Report Posted September 23, 2007 This isn't last year and both teams have changed . It just so happens that Ned made a change for the better.Well we will see come Friday but until then were your daddy
1motime Posted September 23, 2007 Report Posted September 23, 2007 Did you go with the obvious last year to? it's this year now
pirate87 Posted September 23, 2007 Report Posted September 23, 2007 it's this year nowIts funny how some Ned fans always want to tell you about the past until something like a loss to vidor happens and then its in the past never to be spoke of again.
piratefan Posted September 23, 2007 Report Posted September 23, 2007 Mathews will have the Pirates ready for Nederland! Offense will comeout and be improved.Coach Dubouis will be patient and have a game plan ready, and we will be ok...
Ned11str8 Posted September 23, 2007 Report Posted September 23, 2007 We'll he have them prepared enough to come into Bulldog stadium and beat Nederland on homecoming night? ;D Revenge will be sweet! Oh so sweet!
pirate87 Posted September 23, 2007 Report Posted September 23, 2007 We'll he have them prepared enough to come into Bulldog stadium and beat Nederland on homecoming night? ;D Revenge will be sweet! Oh so sweet!I think Neuman should call Matthews and tell him to not even bring the Pirates over. Ned fans already have this one in the bag for him.
