Guest kosmo Posted September 28, 2007 Report Posted September 28, 2007 To me, watching the first few games, it's all about attitude and agressiveness. The kids just don't seem to want to hit someone in the mouth. I have seen it for the first three games and I really think that is what it boils down to. I don't think it's scheme or size of the kids, because there are kids in the right spot to make the stop, but it's almost as if they are too timid (for lack of a better word) to hit someone and make the stop. Too much arm tackling, grabbing at the jersey and tackling of the ball. I hope the coaches can light a fire and get these boys to start smacking someone and having the whole defense fly to the ball. Team photo on every tackle baby!!!!
Guest RedBirdFan85 Posted September 28, 2007 Report Posted September 28, 2007 And you know very little about BC, because several are 15 and most 16 and 17 years old. And calling someone names like that is supposed to be criticism? Yeah our starting runningback, Joseph Robertson is 15 people...competing for the most rushing yards in district 21-31 at age 15 is an achievement by itself..
cards_mom Posted September 28, 2007 Report Posted September 28, 2007 Yeah, Luke Rhodes is also 15, but doing very well at WR. Young, young team, but considering that, these guys are holding their own with the likes of 17 and 18 yr olds.
Guest RedBirdFan85 Posted September 28, 2007 Report Posted September 28, 2007 Yeah can't forget he's 15 too..I think BC will be ready to play tongith a good week of practice corrected some things this week, BC"s going to win 24-21
cards_mom Posted September 28, 2007 Report Posted September 28, 2007 Well, I also hope the coaches light a fire...................or make em really mad where they hit the field with a vengeance tonight!!!!! Leaving work now...............gotta get to HJ for kickoff! Safe journey to all and lets hope we have an injury free game! Go Cards!
