BamaWildcat Posted September 26, 2007 Report Posted September 26, 2007 The Ville 28Jasper 20Sound familiar?
Guest EagleFan01 Posted September 26, 2007 Report Posted September 26, 2007 If Kirbyville doesn't stop Jasper's passing game the dogs will run away with it. Last season the Cats couldn't stop anyone on defense I hope they are better this time around. I say Jasper in a upset 27 to 25.
Guest kvillecheer Posted September 26, 2007 Report Posted September 26, 2007 That Jasper County scholl should win - definitely they are both Jasper county schools? ???
SETXsports Broadcaster Posted September 26, 2007 Report Posted September 26, 2007 they are both Jasper county schools? ???I believe that was a JOKE.Anyway it may be closer than many think even per Kirbyvills coach:From Jasper Newsboy:Kirbyville Head Football Coach Jack Alvarez knows his Wildcats will be facing a tougher opponent this week in the Bulldogs than they have seen all pre-season long. "I think the speed of the game will be a lot faster this week and I'm worried about that," Alvarez said. "Jasper has been playing a lot higher level of competition than we have been playing so I'm worried about that aspect of it." Alvarez knows Jasper has taken on a tougher non-district schedule in preparation for the war of District 21- 3A. "I think Jasper will be more prepared for district than we are as a result of their pre-season schedule," Alvarez said.
