Prayers Needed

I just want to say thank you for the prayers for my son.  We will be checking out of the Hospital shortly and he is doing fine.  We will have to bring him back in two weeks for a checkup and med. release.  My wife flew with him from Woodville and I had to drive, when I finally got to the hospital to see him, his first words were not "hi dad" it was did "we win".  Special thanks to CatFan81 and patitan (as yes we will let everyone on the site know your not a bad guy).

Thank you,

Doug

My 9 yr old keeps asking when he can play tackle.  This is exactly why he'll remain in flag as long as he can.  IMO, that age is way too young for wide open hitting.  Their bones are still growing fast and they don't know how to protect themselves yet.

Look at the last couple of years of SERIOUS injuries in grade school kids.

No Way!

Prayers sent to the little guys...(LM's too)

Excellent point Proud, it shouldn't be lost.  Glad to hear this young man is doing well.  Amen to that.  I agree 110% with your comments.  Plenty of time to learn the game and have fun.

    • Virginia has same day voter registration. A person can literally walk in to the voting location, register and then vote. So the premise that Virginia might be stopping people with a legitimate right to vote is nonsense. From what I gather in the news report, assuming that the ones I have read are correct, the people that were removed, filled out a drivers license registration and marked that they were not an American citizen. Could the person have made a mistake bychecking the box incorrectly? Although unlikely it is certainly possible. That same person who was removed can go into the same voting location where he would have voted and again, complete a voter registration and then vote.  That went into the Supreme Court’s decision.  If such a person votes by registering on election day, he fills out a provisional ballot. Provisional ballots are not originally counted and or not counted unless needed. For example….  Statewide there are 500 provisional ballots cast. A person wins the election by 4,000 votes. That would be no need to count the provisional ballots as it will not matter. Then let’s say there are 5,000 provisional ballots cast in the election. One candidate then wins the election by only 1,500 votes. In that case, the election could definitely swing on those provisional ballots. The state will then investigate each person to make sure they live at the correct address listed and that they are American citizens. If these things are correct, the vote will then be counted. Safe Harbor is not untillll…… I think December 17th this year so there will be six weeks to verify the provisional ballots if needed. The purging of the names of people who checked a state form saying that they were not an American citizen, will not stop that same person from voting.
