NetCat Posted November 10, 2020 Report Posted November 10, 2020 Honestly I don't know if anyone in this district has a chance. Could be a clean sweep by the northern district. DAWG and Greezy 2 Quote

West Sabine is the favorite but I’m thinking only about 60/40. I see it being competitive. Cushing will be the favorite based on them beating DV handily earlier in the season but I’m picking the Pirates to win. They had kids out and it was their first game of the season (not Cushing’s) and the Bearkats have suffered a couple critical injuries in the last couple weeks. Quote
H-D BOBCAT 55 Posted November 10, 2020 Author Report Posted November 10, 2020 HD’s underclass led team was picked 4th in District, they surpassed that, these youngsters will be really good in 1-2 seasons, although the current talent level on this team could spell an unexpected upset vs West Sabine. oldschool2 Posted November 10, 2020 Report Posted November 10, 2020 Just based on some things... I think HD wins a playoff game next year. As long as this same group is still playing together, next year they'll get a 1 seed and win a playoff game. Crazier things have happened and a lot changes.. but I see WS taking this one. Quote
Chester86 Posted November 10, 2020 Report Posted November 10, 2020 Because of a few posters I generally pull for ANY team against HD - but that’s not fair to the kids who don’t play a roll in it. I just have a feeling they win this week. Corona_with_Lime 1 Quote
RedJollyRoger Posted November 10, 2020 Report Posted November 10, 2020 Well, I'm hoping the Bobcats pull this one out. Good Luck from the 'Ville HD! Corona_with_Lime 1 Quote
workbootz Posted November 11, 2020 Report Posted November 11, 2020 With 5 horses 🐎 in the stable, there's no way I'm picking against HD. HD by 11 Grayghost and Corona_with_Lime 2 Quote
bd04 Posted November 11, 2020 Report Posted November 11, 2020 I know nothing about WS besides what max preps has. Their district is definitely the favorite against all of our teams. I can see HD being competitive for the 1st half then falling behind in the 2nd half. Hope I’m wrong. Grayghost 1 Quote
JB78 Posted November 11, 2020 Report Posted November 11, 2020 Had HD in this one but hearing talk around last couple days I don’t know which way to call it. Quote

Yep, not great news for the Bobcats. Just lost a senior 2-way starter who’s a top 6-7 player on the team to a season ending leg injury. Also a defensive starter (one of the best athletes on the team) along with a move-back move-in who’s been shining recently no longer available due to off-field issues. And last but not least a big freshman defensive lineman who’s already contributing and going to be really good down the road got caught up in the same off-field issues. Injuries and kids being kids are part of the game but pretty terrible timing for a team lacking depth already. The thoroughbreds are still in the stable but a few good work horses are out. HD still will still compete and make it a game but this hurts. Quote
RedJollyRoger Posted November 11, 2020 Report Posted November 11, 2020 Hate to hear that for HD...It's tough enough trying to keep a 20-25 kids healthy down at our level. I know the ones that do hit the field will play hard regardless. Corona_with_Lime 1 Quote
