SETXsports Broadcaster Posted September 28, 2007 Report Posted September 28, 2007 i think this guy may be one of the smartest people on this network. good prediction man and thanks for the good gameI am not understanding the (like usual) part of your statement. Are you saying that Jasper quits everytime they play Newton? Thats what I am reading. Interesting games you have been going to.You sure your in the right stadium? ???
HardHitter55 Posted September 28, 2007 Report Posted September 28, 2007 Who cares!!!Both Jasper and silsbee better worry about the 6 games that come before that one or the last one will not matter. You cannot compare games these are teenagers and each week a different one can show up. Jasper did not show up against Newton. Newton did not show up against Crockett. I am sure silsbee did not play their best game last Friday. Newton will always be fired up against Jasper it is their biggest game of the year outside of the state championship. Not that it dosn't matter to jasper but they have other more "important" games important for the fact that they are bigger rivals and that they count (WOS, Silsbee, and new rival Kirbyville). Newton will 99% of the time dominate their district. Not that Newton dosn't want to beat Silsbee or Carthage, but they are not Jasper.who cares? silsbee and jasper care!its prolly the biggest rival in southeast texas along with on-g and nederland so with that being said, if have nothin better to say, stay in 4a if our 3a talk isnt interesting enough for you
HardHitter55 Posted September 28, 2007 Report Posted September 28, 2007 I am now understanding the (like usual) part of your statement. Are you saying that Jasper quits everytime they play Newton? Thats what I am reading. Interesting games you have been going to.You sure your in the right stadium? ???it honestly doesnt matter how they played against newton or how we played against pn-gsilsbee and jasper will come with all they have and more when they play each other. everyone knows it. its one of the biggest matchups year in and year out. it'll be a good one regardless
HardHitter55 Posted September 28, 2007 Report Posted September 28, 2007 Both of them are young give them time, by next year they will be the team to watch silsbees a team to watch this year. we progressed week in and week out. we're A LOT better this week than we were last week.

Jasper did quit last year and played most of the year with no heart and if you were at the Newton game you did not hear the dog bark past the team running on the field before kickoff. No heart. Coach Brooks is a great coach, but has to teach Jasper how to win again. And in time I think he will.
