Bucster Posted September 26, 2007 Report Posted September 26, 2007 What are the odds of making a two point conversion in a oppenents stadium.About the same as making a two point or one point conversion at home. Home field advantage at the HS level is way overrated IMO.
Guest ballfan Posted September 26, 2007 Report Posted September 26, 2007 well at jasper you have a better chance of going for two than goin for one so i would have to go for two.
Lumberjack Posted September 26, 2007 Report Posted September 26, 2007 You know your defense will not stop the high-powered offense in overtime and your offense is not exactly equipped to handle shoot outs with a high octane offense. My offense may not be equipped to handle shootouts, but it certainly sounds like they are doing just that. Sounds to me like their defense has been struggling just to keep 'em in the game. With "Big Mo" on my side.....I gotta go for 2!I also don't agree that going for 2 and not making it puts the coach in a bad light. One of Diboll's biggest wins in the mid-nineties was a one point loss to Alto. Our kids were celebrating at mid-field while the Alto kids were scratching their heads on the sidelines. It was a major turning point in our football program.* eduted cuz i caint spel
