KFDM COOP Posted September 24, 2007 Report Posted September 24, 2007 How are the Cardinals coming along after the Hurricane?
bleacher_bum Posted September 24, 2007 Report Posted September 24, 2007 Haven't seen Chester, but I did see HI play Hardin. I know the score was lop-sided, but I saw alot of really good hard hitting athletes on the HI side. I think these guys are actually pretty good. I think they should expand their offensive playbook though.Kahla, George, and Hall (I think) are really good.
TheCardinalFan Posted September 25, 2007 Report Posted September 25, 2007 The Cardinals are pretty much back to normal, except for playing the rest of the games on the road. They took a tough one on the chin last Friday night, but the boys are excited about playing the Chester Yellow Jackets. Chester is much improved this year and are looking to put it on the Cardinals up there in the PIT. The Cardinals & the Jackets have always played each other tough and this year shouldn't be any different. If the Cardinals can control the ball on offense, they should be able to bring home the victory.High Island 34 Chester 13Go Cardinals!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
24 over par Posted September 25, 2007 Report Posted September 25, 2007 after chester handled sp they get my vote in a close onechester-33hi-29
BIGMO44 Posted September 26, 2007 Report Posted September 26, 2007 1st year coach Tracy Franklin is turning things around at Chester. I believe Chester finished last year with 12 players and I hear he has 20-something this year. I think it will be close and low.Chester-18HI-6
Guest ghostt Posted September 26, 2007 Report Posted September 26, 2007 chester is my vote no doubtchester has some studs playing this yearif high islands team is still the same from last yearthan i dont think there going to win by a close one
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted September 26, 2007 Report Posted September 26, 2007 H.I. by 7, I here Chester has a numbers problem, won versus a very injured SP team last week.
JCfan Posted September 26, 2007 Report Posted September 26, 2007 If Chester keeps their attitudes right, they have an excellent shot to pick up another W. They have some size, some speed, and some grit. The fans seem to like this coach from what I hear, which makes a difference there. My pick, Chester 18-12.If Chester doesn't have their heads in it, HI by two touchdowns.
hsfootball0708 Posted September 27, 2007 Report Posted September 27, 2007 Chester gained alot of players this year and are looking very good. Tracy Franklin has turned the program around. I think Chester will run all over High Island. My hat is off to the Jackets.
S.P(Daryl)#60 Posted September 27, 2007 Report Posted September 27, 2007 They are better then last year

If so, as much as I like and respect Chester and Coach Franklin, they are going to have a tough time getting out of district.
