mustangs_2007
Navarro JC defeated Tyler thanks to the performance of third string freshman QB Andre Bevil of WOS. Already without their starting QB, Navarro lost their second string QB right before the half, down 14-13. In his first college action Bevil completed 7 of 9 passes for 128 yards, with four touchdowns. He ran for two other scores and Navarro pasted Tyler 63-28. Navarro evened its record at 2-2 overall and 1-1 in league play. Thanks to KOGT.com

WOS92
Wow! A freshman playing third string goes in to make a comeback (with SIX TDs)! GREAT JOB, BEVIL!
td
I heard that the starting QB is the best in their conference. If he's hurt, it sounds like he should get better quick or he may just be the second best QB in their conference.

If only he had played one more year.I think what he did is wonderful. I hope there is alot more of it in his future and I also hope that in two years he will be ready for D-1. But let's not go overboard. He didn't do this against a D-1 defense. That being said you have to play against whomever is on defense and I think there is alot more where this came from in this young man's future. He can sling the ball down field that's for sure. Gasilla
I'm really proud for Andre. The kid has got an amazing arm. He throws one of the prettiest balls you've ever seen. I hope he keeps shinning.
