What Age?

There was a rule change in the area youth football this year where now 7 year olds play pee wee tackle with the 8 year olds. My son turns 7 next football season, but I think it might be too young to let him play tackle. What's your comments on this young of kids playing tackle football?

if im not wrong i think at that age it depends on weight, you can get on the STJFL.NET website and if you cant find it there you can e-mail one of the board members
