Per Baytown Sun:

 

According to Goose Creek CISD athletic director Lee Martinez, one member of the team - staff or roster - woke up Thursday not feeling well and upon follow up, was found to have tested positive for the virus.

 

GCM's opponent, Nederland, advances to the area round and the Lady Patriots season comes to an end with a 13-8 record.

Thus the entire team and coaches will now have to be put into quarantine for 14 days.
