I think what happened in EC game that the coach needs to learn from is that in EC weak district they got used to playing backups in the second half and fatigue set in in the 4th quarter Friday night. Starters were not used to playing 4 quarters and it bit them in the butt

Yoakum did end district in 3rd place. Halletsville in 1st with UT commit RB Jonathon Brooks, Columbus 2nd and Yoakum in 3rd. Yoakum missed a couple games due to Covid.  The HC Bo Robinson has the team peaking in the playoffs and getting better each week. Playing in a weak district hurt EC in that players cramping up in the playoffs should never happen. The RB Cesar was fun to watch, hopefully he has great success playing on Saturdays.

Happens alot. When you have a good team. Then they are not ready or conditioned enough for four quarters. When they meet up with another good team.

Tramaine Thomas IMO was the best player EC ever had. Vance McDonald has had the best overall career by far.
