    Texas Parks & Wildlifes'  animal conservation efforts deemed successful as newly introduced Wolf pack shows signs of growth.  We spoke with the head Conversation Officer Peter McGillicuddy who spear headed the wildlife management plan by phone and he stated , " The Wolves seem to be thriving as their numbers continue to grow but their growth seems to have an adverse effect on the  local jaguar and panther population".  McGillicuddy then went on to add ," We've already seen this exact scenario in the 80's when the Cougar, Buffalo and  the Greenie population were decimated".  When ask what a Greenie was he quickly answered "Who knows".

   According to our most recent reports , the pack was last seen devouring some turkeys on November 26th in the Beaumont area. Through the triangulation of GPS collars, the wolfpacks scouts were found to be migrating to the  vicinity of goose creek in nearby Baytown.  Stay tuned for further updates !!
