Bou never lost to Orangefield man. Bou has always had the best player in the Golden Triangle so that's not saying much..a couple went on to play in the NBA....that's easy to do when you have those caliber players...play it back...How many of those teams did Coach have that had D1 talent compared to Bou? You really haven't seen Port Arthur basketball. The Lincoln Bees had teams scared from the suburbs of Houston, to Dallas, all the way to El Paso, and all points in between. What you're seeing now is PA basketball lite. I hate that ridiculous phrase... 🤦🏾
BMTSoulja1
Not gonna lie. Good win for a 4a program to beat a 5A team who won the state a couple of years ago. I wish H-F success, but the tell tail sign will be if they can knock off an established program like H-J or a decent Huffman team in district, which I think is very attainable. Indians4life
My buddy told me that Fannett was the better team yesterday and had the better talent. The move in that had to play JV last year had 28 points.
buchorn2005
HF won't have any problem playing with HJ and HH. They have a great coach and several really good players from Beaumont.

They have a great coach and several really good players from Beaumont. I Love how people have always went back to players from Beaumont when speaking on the topic of HF....Half of the people born outside of anywhere claim where they live now...if these kids got in or even sat out a year then who cares where there from...The problem I have with these situations is that everyone of these kids hadn't played a Varsity down where they came from and still had to sit out...The rule needs to be if a kid hadn't played any Varsity minutes at prior school then the 15 day sit out should be efficient enough..As a parent that's a realist and if i know my child isn't better than what's there or coming then I would leave or transfer out also cause at the end of the day the kid just wants to play and not ride a bench. If a Coach had to sit out a season when leaving for a better job opportunity he wouldn't complain about these kids leaving anymore cause he wants to be able to Coach right away to better his or herself. Yall make these statements as if all the basketball talent resides in Beaumont...what are you saying about the other kids around towns?
