I've watched China Spring all the way through their run and they're a really good football team, but Carthage just has another gear in the playoffs. There's no stopping the Bulldogs.

A total mismatch.if u have any chance of beating Carthage.u have to spread them out and throw it in space. And some how put up points.CS doesn't throw it well enough to beat them.carthage loads the box and comes after u.but I luv CS coaching staff.they will come up with a few gimmick plays to keep it close.in the end 35-7 bulldogs. Carthage depth on that dline will be a factor.#5 LB an absolute stub.

They're very run-heavy with a very athletic and fast quarterback that can also throw it when they need him to. They also have a tailback that looks like he'd be slow, but that bowling ball can roll. He got past our defense like we were just standing there and did the same thing in the two games against WOS and Sealy. 

I think Carthage is strong enough on defense to limit them some. They'll probably make a few plays, but I think the Bulldogs should win by a couple of touchdowns....somewhere in the neighborhood of 35-21.

He was 14-18 for 275 yards and 3 TD with no interceptions. Another very efficient game. Carthage passing game is really clicking. Had 2 one play TD drives where he dropped dimes on the receivers. One for 35 yards and one for 94 yards.
 

For the season 131 of 180 for 2,249 yards. 26 TD and 2 Int. 73% completion is outstanding, especially in this Carthage offense. Not a lot of easy short passes to pad the completion % stats.

They are a run offense with an athletic QB. The problem for them is a Dawg defense that only allows 6.7 points a game.  
So far no team has run on the Dawgs. 
Salado averaged 373 yards rushing a game. They were held to 17 yards in the first half against the Dawgs. 
The only way a team can beat the Dawgs is run and pass equally well. 
The Dawg defense is just as good against pass as they are the run. 
China Spring has a pretty good defense, not sure if they have seen an offense that can run and pass like the Dawgs. The Dawg O line are big, very strong, and very quick off the ball. 
wide receivers are all very fast, great hands, and very well coached. 
RB Courtney is the heart of this team. He has great vision and cuts on a dime, and never goes down on first contact. He is a great receiver out of the backfield. This is a very balanced offense that can attack any weakness a defense has. 
Coach Surratt and Preston and the Dawg staff are very hard to beat. 
The Dawgs are 69 and one since 2016.
