Lindale vs Kilgore

This is one tough pickum.   Here’s the R. Digest history.

Last met for D Championship 11/6 with Lindale winning 47-40.  I think Lindale wins it, but this is the classic “rematch”, were often the loser of the first wins the second.  Here’s playoff history:

Lindale beat,

Vidor 29-13

Needville 70-56

Chapel Hill 36-7   (Subs in most of second half)

Kilgore beat.

Splendora 42-0

El Campo 27-14

Huffman 20-17

Based on last game, the over/under should be about 80 😄.  This should be one of the better playoff games this week.   I’ve been following Lindale since they beat Vidor, and they are averaging over 40 points a game for the season.   Great QB & a D1 RB.   Who do you like?

I'm hoping for a Lindale vs Corpus Christi Miller matchup in round 4. CC Miller averages 58 PPG this season. If you haven't checked out their scores from this season you will be amazed. The over/under for that game would be 100 lol.  Plus,  the Houston area is in the middle of both teams so that would definitely be worth the drive.

CC Miller QB is a beast!!!!! @Hagar remember before the season I said that was one of the teams I was going to be watching.

Yep, remember you were watching Miller & Calallen.  Ironic, Calallen beat Miller but they’re out & Miller still in.  The Lake is right, if Miller and Lindale play, over/under should be triple digits.  😂

Nah just Miller, only thing I like about Calallen is the HC (SETX ties) 😎

 

I'd take Miller over Lindale 67-60 if it were to happen, seriously. Body (Miller QB) vs Jenkins (Lindale RB) would be very fun to watch, I say play it in Port Arthur if it happens 😁🍿

My guess would be Katy, Cypress or Bryan/College Station.

Both have their hands full this week.  I’ve posted about Lindale vs Kilgore.  Could go either way.  Miller has LBJ Austin, who beat Calallen by 14,  and Calallen beat Miller.   Miller vs Lindale would be an offensive dream game, but as of now, just a dream.

Calpreps has it Lindale 35 Kilgore 31. Don't know much about each team besides the D1 RB for Lindale. In my opinion first team to 30 wins. This game is a toss up. Should be a shootout.

Lindale is a very fun team to watch!!  That running back is amazing. I hope Lindale pulls it off.  They won the first meeting by a hair.  That district is beastly!!

Wish we had a district of doom, guess we have to wait til Wos gains kids to move up and Port Arthur Memorial continues to lose enrollment per graduation. 🤷🏾‍♂️☕

this is the 4th round. I think you were meaning 5th (state simi-final). IMO Kilgore will win this game. They have some dudes on D. LB's and Safety are really physical and can tackle 1 on 1. If they can prevent turnovers (unlike last time they met) they will win this game by 14+.

You seem to have the advantage on me, knowing what all went on in the first meeting.  But just looking at the scores in District:

Mabank L+41  K+28

C. Hill.  L+46  K+7

Henderson  L+27  K+26

Palestine  L+32  K+21

Athens  L+19  K+35

Lindale exceeds Kilgore in all but the Athens game.
