Guest Kelly Football Posted September 28, 2007 Report Posted September 28, 2007 Good win. I was there and most of the JV players from WO have been moved to Varsity.
UTfanatic Posted September 28, 2007 Report Posted September 28, 2007 looks like a sweep for Nederland this week.

HJDE09 Posted September 28, 2007 Report Posted September 28, 2007 I'm starting to think that the HJ JV is pulling it together now and starting to work as a team, instead of only 1 person doing it himself
OrangeFBfan Posted September 28, 2007 Report Posted September 28, 2007 Both WO-S 9th and JV squads are depleted due to guys being moved up to the varsity level. The JV squad only suited out 17 to begin with. You had several freshmen moving up to play JV ball. It's all good competition for those freshmen boys moving up to play kids with at least 1-2 years high school ball under their belt. It'll make them that much stronger for their varsity run in a couple years! Go' Stangs ;D

hjhawks Posted September 28, 2007 Report Posted September 28, 2007 Bridge City executed a well designed double reverse with 1:30 left in the game.Being up 40-0, I wonder what made them run a double reverse....Karma......

Guest car ramrod Posted September 28, 2007 Report Posted September 28, 2007 Congrats to the H-F jv for winning. I know the response has been the WO-S jv is depleted, but H-F has had several jv kids pulled up also, so it made for a good game (minus the WO-S player and coach getting tossed).
Gasilla Posted September 28, 2007 Report Posted September 28, 2007 Good win by HF. I guess this was the game that the HF coach was refering to in the Enterprise article where he said "we've beat them in sub-varsity in the past". I guess he mean't the immediate past.Regardless of pickups, anytime you best a WOS squad you have done something. Congratulations.
