Texas_baseball08 Posted September 28, 2007 Report Posted September 28, 2007 I see BC vs Jasper as pretty much a toss-up--both great teams.Without a host of errors by Seniors last year BC would have won state.These two teams stand out way above the crowd; just as last year-- in all of 3A.The brutal fact is that this 3A district had 4 teams that would have won the bulk of the district races across the whole state.BC is blessed with a good pitching staff--Jason Clark just may prove to be the best 3A pitcher in the state before it is all over; closely followed by Hicks.\\Guys hate to tell you but Jasper Pitching Staff is the same pitching Staff that won them a state championship last year...but yeah BC will have a pretty good pitching staff...but Jasper will pull out the sticks and slap the ball all over the park just like last year!!

Guest Orangeboy Posted September 28, 2007 Report Posted September 28, 2007 BC will be stronger the less Hicks HAS to pitch. They just lose too much when he has to go to the mound. He was the defensive MVP of the district as a freshmen and if guys like Clark and Snyder can carry the load BC will be that much better. It would not be a bad thing to have Hicks come in as your 3rd pitcher.
cardinals4life Posted September 29, 2007 Report Posted September 29, 2007 yea clark played alittle bit when he would play he had a DH for him and he pitched one game int the playoffs and did very good but he wouldnt even had started the game if hicks back wasnt hurting him
