Best announcers in this area?

Here is somthing new to talk about. Which school has the best voice at the games either Thursday or Friday night games?

from bc bill dixon is very good, so is terry stuebing lately. two that should not be on this list is those idiots from kelly and wo-s.  lol i'll never forget some of the things they said.  wo-s sounds like a little league dad, and kelly's sounds like a child's story teller.

The BC guys are great, but I always liked the guy from PNG. I got to meet him a few years ago and he said he's been anouncing games since he was 12 or 13.

Mr. Sam Force Collins at Newton. He's been doing the Newton games for 51 or 52 years.

Woodville has a man named Charles Seay who did sports for about 30 years on big market radio stations and is really good.

Definatley not our announcer.  He sounds like the 'dry eyes' dude from the visine commercials.   He even gets the players names wrong and on 3rd and 2, he say it's 2nd and 15.  Geesh!

I don't care for ours(Nederland) all that much. When he does scores at halftime, many times he will say the team that is losing first. That is a huge pet peeve of mine for some reason. My favorite thru the years has been the guy from LC-M even though he is a little biased and I think announcers on the PA should be. I know Bill Dixon personally, but I have never heard him announce a game, but I bet he is great as well. Tip Durham at PN-G is very unbiased and monotone, but you can't help but like him.

If your talking broadcasters, in high school in Texas it would be Dallas Houston who has done Brownwood football for years.  They have even had him on shows like Texas Country Reporter. As far as the greatest of all time I think it would be Kern Tips who used to do the game of the week in the Southwest Conf.

I do not know if Ken Poston does the West Brook football games or not, but he does an outstanding job on baseball games. Favorite for football without a doubt Tip Durham. Also for baseball BC and LCM have very good announcers.
