I'm stoked.  Expecting kinda slow hunting in the hill country with all the rain, but I still can't wait to get out there.  Anyone else going this weekend/

I'm going if I can possibly sit still on the stand without the mosquitos killing me.

I'll be in Chester, Texas in the am.  Been seeing some good signs and have some good trail cam pics.  Some small bucks, one 8 point and some BIG hogs.

Can't wait to get out there.

I will be in Chester on the stand before daylight. I have been having about a 3 1/2 year old 9 point hanging around late in the afternoons.

Well, very slow hunting in the hill county(near Junction)  Out of 5 hunters, we took two doe and saw no good bucks.  Grass is waist high and acorns everywhere.  Full moon didnt help I'm sure.  Lots of turkey this year.  I'm guessing we wont see any action near the feeders for at least a month.  Looks like trail hunting for a while.

3 deer taken off our place Sth of Kountze, very little movement in the early morn due to moon phase.
