wos08 Posted September 28, 2007 Report Posted September 28, 2007 Glad the field is dry..Expect alot from DPG, WOS homecoming king
20FAN07 Posted September 29, 2007 Report Posted September 29, 2007 7 - 0 WOS with, i think 7min left in the 2nd Q
20FAN07 Posted September 29, 2007 Report Posted September 29, 2007 close game, 7 - 0 WOS at half.......
20FAN07 Posted September 29, 2007 Report Posted September 29, 2007 i guess HF got there wish in keeping the game close, im not sure on stats or anything. The stangs need to kick it in gear and get some more points, these close games aren't good for your health
Guest GoStangs Posted September 29, 2007 Report Posted September 29, 2007 They're going to have to win games on defense alone just like in 2000. Thank goodness Coach Thompson is still there...
20FAN07 Posted September 29, 2007 Report Posted September 29, 2007 27 - 7 WOS in the 4th, not sure one the time
20FAN07 Posted September 29, 2007 Report Posted September 29, 2007 touchdown stangs, so 35 - 7 if field is good
wos08 Posted September 29, 2007 Report Posted September 29, 2007 3 slightly overthrown wide open passes on 3 diff possessions.. the score wouldve been ugly if those were completeddpg had at least 100 yards or so and 1 tdc bell had a clean int and returned it for a TD

mustang4ever Posted September 29, 2007 Report Posted September 29, 2007 Congratulations Mustangs!!!! Let's go for another undefeated season in district!!!!
skipper Posted September 29, 2007 Report Posted September 29, 2007 looked like to us WO-S should have had 3 more TD
kicker Posted September 29, 2007 Report Posted September 29, 2007 HF looks much better than last year. I think they can compete. Nothing against HF, but it could have been 60 something to 7 if we could catch a deep ball. By the way, their touchdown was actually a touchback. Just saw the replay on the tailgate show. He fumbled the ball on th 2 yard line and then went out of the endzone. Should have been a shutout. Those officials were bad for both teams. They were even having problems counting yards on penalties. :Anyways, GOOD JOB 'STANGS!!and GOOD LUCK TO HF! I think they might have something going there.
WOS92 Posted September 29, 2007 Report Posted September 29, 2007 Yeah, the HF QB fumbled at the 2 and it rolled out of the front corner of the end zone - ref shot his hands up for a TDÂ :

But I agree with what he says about HF.  They didnt seem as intimidated as they have the past couple of years and they played a tough game.  They were also able to move the ball a little better than previous games against WOS.  WOS had some better play calling after the first drive.  But they also played a pretty sloppy game.  The game should have never been close through the first half.  The QB needs some work on his long passes (except the one that was dropped) and needs too realize he can run the ball when he needs to cuz hes got some moves and speed.  He just needs more experience.  If they play this sloppy against Kville it could end their streak of district wins.
WOS92 Posted September 29, 2007 Report Posted September 29, 2007 Tonight's less-than-spectacular performance was not the OC's fault. The calls tonight were fine. It was bad execution - overthrows, drops, fumbles. Then again, I will take ANY game where we play as ugly as we did tonight and win 34-7.

We just looked rusty.
WOS92 Posted September 29, 2007 Report Posted September 29, 2007 Yup. It's hard to feel too, too bad when you feel this rusty and win by almost four TDs.

Giddings will kill us if a change isn't made. Hell Kirbyville will whip us. I sat there and put up with that crap for the last time.
