WH-BackInThaDay Posted September 29, 2007 Report Posted September 29, 2007 Dang!! Didn't expect it from New Caney. Good Job. Go get em' next week Falcons.
Beastman1652 Posted September 29, 2007 Report Posted September 29, 2007 Man, I did not think that would happen either! WOW, Thats ok though Falcons!
gringo Posted September 29, 2007 Report Posted September 29, 2007 New Caney finally got away from the spread and started running some power football.
Lightning/Eagle Posted October 1, 2007 Report Posted October 1, 2007 That's exactly right Gringo. They were then able to pass a little bit after they established the run. I was totally surprised when they opened up in the I formation the first play from scrimmage. They also changed some players positions which better suited their abilities. New Caney still doesn't have the speed to play with alot of teams though. But if the coach will stay with a power run game plan they should be able to eat some clock and stay competitive.
