what really upsets me is H-J was3 for 12 in passing and they got 28 points... and we got beat at the end of the game with 40 seconds lesft with a desperate, lucky 50 yard toss...

I rank 21 3A as not very strong this year. But hey you can't be strong every year. Sometimes there is going to be down years and I believe thats the case this year. There is not one team that stand out. That is head and tails better than everyone else.

The district is down, but there are still some interesting matchups. The teams at the bottom are more obvious than those at the top, but I think WO-S, Kville and Silsbee will rise in the end.

I think the Kirbyville/Jasper game was huge in week 1 of district play. In week 2 of district play I believe its the Hardin-Jefferson/Hamshire-Fannett game. My reason for this I believe barring injury (especially small school Kirbyville) they will finish 1 or 2 in no particular order. I believe if Hardin-Jefferson pulls off a win here it gives them something to play for against Silsbee or Jasper and right now I think Jasper's confidence is way way down.
