No offense, but one big win isn't going to change public perception when you've got this "no playoffs" stigma attached to the team. I'd worry more about continuing the upsets than whether people are believing - because they won't believe until you force them to on the field. It might take two or three more wins like this, one more win like this, or it might be two years from now. I'll let you know when I'm a believer, as will everyone else. Why would you let me or any other doubter ruin a big win for you? GET OVER IT AND IGNORE US!
