Guest Nederland Bandit Posted September 30, 2007 Report Posted September 30, 2007 The BEST High School spread offense youve seen? What High School team runs or ran the best spread offense you have seen?
Guest Bulldog Posted September 30, 2007 Report Posted September 30, 2007 Jasper use to run it well.......back in the day
SFA85 Posted September 30, 2007 Report Posted September 30, 2007 SLC for throwing and either the '04(?) LM or the '06 Cedar Hill for running
Bobcatfan4life Posted September 30, 2007 Report Posted September 30, 2007 Personally the '04 Jasper team was the best high school football team I've ever seen. Seemed they could score whenever they wanted to.
HORNSHATER08 Posted September 30, 2007 Report Posted September 30, 2007 I agree with SFA85 Southlake Carroll has the best spread offense in Texas for throwing the football besides Texas Tech, and Cedar Hill does a great job of running out of the spread like West Virginia.
Gasilla Posted September 30, 2007 Report Posted September 30, 2007 90's Stephenville teams. They ran it like your supposed to. Running AND throwing.
83_Alumni Posted September 30, 2007 Report Posted September 30, 2007 The 2002 Ennis team ran it pretty well, of course now their QB runs it for Texas Tech.

Seemed they could score whenever they wanted to.That's a pretty bold statement. I guess maybe you haven't seen a whole lot of football. That '04 Jasper team was definetly a good team, but my Silsbee Tigers were able to beat them that year in the Bone Yard.

Clsof87Pirate Posted October 1, 2007 Report Posted October 1, 2007 I don't know about all time, but I would definately say the Hardin Hornets run the best in 2a I've ever seen.

Not saying they were the best at the spread of all time, but in those 6 short years I've been watching high school football that was the best team I've seen. They played Bridge City that night and put up around 550 yards of offense. Wasn't that the year they went to state and played Gilmer?

bob_sakamano Posted October 1, 2007 Report Posted October 1, 2007 Mart runs it pretty well and they are 2A.
Guest car ramrod Posted October 1, 2007 Report Posted October 1, 2007 The 04 Jasper team was good, but didn't they get beat in the State Championship game by Gilmer, a spread team.Southlake Carroll - 4 state championships in the last 5 years (or something like that) would make them a good candidate.
Big GANDER Posted October 1, 2007 Report Posted October 1, 2007 2a Mart runs it extremely well. But Vince Young and his Madison teamates had a pretty potent offense
exMHS99 Posted October 1, 2007 Report Posted October 1, 2007 Mart used 10 receivers last Friday night. I would say that they spread the ball around pretty good.
