tvc184 Posted October 1, 2007 Report Posted October 1, 2007 What is strange the way they write about golf. If 10 people are tied for the best score, they are called tied for first place. If 5 other people are only 1 shot back, they are called tied for 17th. Huh? Shouldn't it be 10 people tied for first and 5 people tied for second? Nope, that isn't the way they call it in golf.... unless you are tied for first. If 10 are tied at the top they don't call them tied for 10th. Double standard?
