Wow!  Some things never change. 

If I am not mistaken the pool play simply determines seeding for an 8 team bracket.  This would mean that those in pool A will play those in pool B in the first round of bracket play.  Looks like everyone has equal opportunity and if pool B is so strong then the winner should breeze through bracket play.

I saw almost every game at this tournament last year.  The team from Denton made it to the finals and finished third in their pool.  HJ won it and beat all the teams from the stacked pool on their way to the championship. 

Isn't the tournament paying for Chapel Hill's room and board and meals?  Being an ungracious guest already upandunder?

Last years club will look totally different than this years. I don't know how they finished last year but I dont see them playing with HJ,Chapel Hill or EC.I think this will be a big rebuilding year for them and this is not a good group to rebuild against.

yes but in my opinion the better talent you play the better you become so losing to a good team is somtimes better than blowing out a bad team
