Guest Penny
Well he should've talked with Titan before he made such a rash decision... I mean who does he think he is... what gives him the right to say a kid can play at the D1 level??? Oh wait... never mind.

NHS82
SFA85...Neumann has personally helped some of the Ned ex's get D2 and D3 opportunities. Hey...Its not D1, but still athletic/academic scholarships none the less. When the coaching staff goes to the annual Coaching seminar, Neumann visits with some of the colleges recruiters to represent some of his graduating players that have a chance to continue some type of college football. Bon_Mot
Sumrall, Cobb, Askew, Mohica, Boyd, Parks, Peletiere, possibly Hood and Butler. Those immediately came to mind. D1? These guys were all great players, but to get a sniff from D1 recruiters you have to have "measureables" - height, weight, 40 time, verticle jump, ect. Of those skill guys, how many could run a sub - 4.6 40? About how tall were Cobb and Mohica? Five foot six or seven? A few of those guys did go off and continue to play, and none of them dominated at whatever level they were at. The fact remains that Nederland has been successful not because of "measureables" but because of "immeasureables" like dedication, preparation, pride, and coaching. Oh yea, and according to some people, crooked officials : .
dav-joel
Nederland and PNG over the years have produced many baseball players. A few of these chose baseball over football.
