Saturday 2pm at SFA Homer Bryce stadium.

The Pirates are coming off their first playoff win since 1976... beating a A&M consolidated 34-28 in OT.

1 common opponent is Jacksonville Indians... Nederland won 42-20, Pine Tree won 49-42

Let’s hear those predications.

After watching game last night I thought dogs could beat either team,I say dogs by 14,but with that being said it’s still young men that gotta prepare all week and perform at their capability next Saturday, sometimes that’s a tough task!!!!Good luck at practice this week!!!

Judging by the one game we can actually watch(haven’t found any game besides last night on demand) this pine tree team looks built almost exactly like Nederland offensively. Run it down your throat and when you get tired of that throw it over your heads

I say it will be a evenly matched game  Nederland wins by 7 if they cut out the penalties and no personal fouls when they get agitated,or playing from behind this team with a great defense can hold and allow the offense  to score the winning points

Any given day in football l. Don’t judge how they played against the one common opponent with Nederland

Just ask the 2012 #1 ranked pearland Dawson eagles

Only thing that worries me is their oline is massive and neds dline is very undersized. Going to have to use quickness to shed blocks

Pine Tree I dont believe is a very good team. Their district is pretty weak and I’m very surprised at their OT win over Consolidated. BH played Whitehouse that does pretty good in that district in round 2 of last year and won by 3 scores. Ned will ya e the advantage on defense and coaching. I see another good win for the bulldogs!

The strength of Neds d line is their quickness and ability to get off blocks while being undersized

Not sure if that's the right year but I was at that game when it happened in Cypress, Gtown was on a whole different level.

That QB for Georgetown ended up starting at TAMU Jake Hubenak. I know that several players on the team ended up at some Big colleges

Georgetown killed Nederland both years 2012 and 2013 they had some behemoths on their squad

Their dline had some size also. Nederland doesn’t lack in size On the oline tho

Does Pine Tree run that Nascar Offense Gtown did back in those days?

Honestly they look like Nederland on offense. Not as much speed running back is stocky as hell. run first always pass when needed. They’re play action is as strong as Nederland, catch you nipping then throw it over your head
