Guest catfever Posted October 5, 2007 Report Posted October 5, 2007 That is a good group of kids. In all seriousness, state isn't realistic, but in a new district next year, playoffs would be depending on who is in it. Some of it depends on how this new football coach conducts offseason and how much he stresses to the kids to not play basketball. You can think it won't happen, but don't be naive.
the wise one Posted October 5, 2007 Report Posted October 5, 2007 thats why i love high school sports you never know how good a team is going to be year after year

BLUEDOVE3 Posted December 4, 2007 Report Posted December 4, 2007 hah yeahh HF will make it to state if every other 3a team loses every person on their varisty and half the teams lose their JV teamsDang, you could have said if 2 or 3 teams lost players, but the "whole" varsity team? Dang! I suspect it will be awhile ( 4-5 years) before H-F will make a serious run at district. It would help the cause if they found a coach like the young man at the elementary school. He dedicates his time to work out the girls at a very early age on the basic fundamentals of basketball.
24 over par Posted December 4, 2007 Report Posted December 4, 2007 it sure helps coaches on the high school level when the kids have a basket ball iq that matches their grade level
BLUEDOVE3 Posted December 5, 2007 Report Posted December 5, 2007 it sure helps coaches on the high school level when the kids have a basket ball iq that matches their grade levelLet me make it perfectly clear that in no way was I trying to blame the high school coach for H-F's poor basketball skills. I don't think the game is taken seriously enough out there. People show up to play but haven't put the time in to get better.
Wiggins_Crony Posted December 7, 2007 Report Posted December 7, 2007 Can't be stopped? I believe Tarkington beat H-F 50-33. And held your point guard to 8 points and your post to 6. I know I have talked some crap before but at least it was before the season started and not after we lost a ballgame.
Wiggins_Crony Posted December 7, 2007 Report Posted December 7, 2007 My bad. It was before the season when you first posted this.
The dirty doody Posted December 7, 2007 Report Posted December 7, 2007 too bad hf is one of the worst teams in the district they get poned every time someone plays them
