Guest Tyrone27
Dayton is a well coached team with experience. Vidor promoted way too many sophmores. Dayton 35-
Guest blackflag
it wont be hard..we run,run and pass on third down..and then our corners play 20 yards off the ball..and if we are down in the 4th dont have to worry about us coming back,..we dont go into a hurry up offense..we just keep running...   you see that too? Guest piratefaithful
Here is a good example: Vidor was not really any good in Baseball right? Kyle Green comes into town and after three years they go to the playoffs and they are a very tough team in 22-4a.Right?was it we never had athletes in Vidor or did it take the right coach to come in and change things? same way with Basketball.I forget the guy's name right now..Just went to nederland last year as there coach.before him Vidor never did anything in Basketball.after a few years with him here we went on and made the playoffs and a VERY tough team in district .So i ask was it athletes or was it the RIGHT coach to come in and change things?? Samething in Football..do we not have athletes or does it take the right guy to come in and change things??

Guest piratefaithful
I've just noticed that you have a brand new screen name. This tells me you probably have another one, and you are using your new one to stir the pot a little.  Every post you have made this week has been attack on the coaching at Vidor. Everyone says pass more, but we can't complete more than 1/3 of the passes we've attempted.  I'll agree with you that coaching has negatively affected the team to a certain degree, but did you ever stop and think that maybe the kids just are not executing.  I mean 33% pass completion does not exactly sound like  game winning stuff.  How many times have we seen the qb make poor pass decisions?  And, how many times have we seen receivers drop balls that hit them right in the hands?I'd like to see things opened up a bit more, I'm just not ready to replace an established coaching staff with a bunch of Little League coaches that "know" they can do better.  My two cents.well James MC. on your other screen name "VHS" you stated that we need to pass it more. And I believe under this screen name you also stated we needed to pass and open it up..I have been a fan for over 40 years.my two sons played at Vidor. It is just very frustrating week in and week out..read my previous post abdout the baseball and the basketball..what makes us different then the other schools? baseball, and basketball got turned around why shouldnt football?  Just my three cents! Guest hootiehoo
Okay, now, focus on what I'm saying. Â I'm going to type it very slowly for you.....The topic of this thread is Dayton/Vidor predictions. Â That means you tell us what you think the score might be. Â That doesn't mean you get on here feeding us your constant criticism of Vidor's coaching staff. Â If you don't get what I'm saying, scroll down to the very bottom of the forum index page. Â There are rules there. Â Ever heard of 'em? Â Read every one of them....maybe then you will see that bashing of coaches on this forum will not be tolerated. Â So, unless you want to share what you think the score will be....go play somewhere else.
