Guest Penny Posted October 6, 2007 Report Posted October 6, 2007 Always is a WAR... this year just has a little more intrigue don't it.
PNG1992 Posted October 6, 2007 Report Posted October 6, 2007 whoever wins the turnover battle will win.
tvc184 Posted October 6, 2007 Report Posted October 6, 2007 I wonder if patitan will pick both MC teams to lose again this week.
beaumontballer44 Posted October 6, 2007 Report Posted October 6, 2007 Where is they game being played at? Should be a great game but Nederland in a close one!
Guest Penny Posted October 6, 2007 Report Posted October 6, 2007 He'll find a way to pick both of them to lose... he's very dillusional... I have a lot of faith in him to pull this one off. Â Stay tuned!
Pirate88 Posted October 6, 2007 Report Posted October 6, 2007 Gotta go with Nederland. Should be a good one.
PNG1992 Posted October 6, 2007 Report Posted October 6, 2007 Where is the game being played at? Should be a great game but Nederland in a close one!in Nederland
bulldawg64 Posted October 6, 2007 Report Posted October 6, 2007 GONNA BE A BATTLE LIKE ALWAYS PNG WILL NOT LAY DOWN FOR THIS ONE. BUT THEÂ DOGS WILL TAKE IT!!
MikeEast Posted October 6, 2007 Report Posted October 6, 2007 I am from Nederland, but I think this one is a toss up. When I saw PNG play in Houston zero week you could see that they had the building blocks of a very strong team. Just depends on what is done with them. Assuming both teams are playing their best ball next week... I think its too close to call.
Guest Penny Posted October 6, 2007 Report Posted October 6, 2007 Usually is, but Nederland has some recent history in it's favor and that plays a huge part in it, plus Dogs are at home, where they are typically very tough. I think that gives them the slight edge at this point. Nederland's defense will stack up very well against PNG's grind it out offense... and Nederland can throw the football. I think these factors tip the scales a slightly.
besbolbenbedygud Posted October 6, 2007 Report Posted October 6, 2007 This is what we all want......NED vs PNG both teams undefeated when they meet.....I know records get tossed out in these games, but........this is like an extra helping of mama's apple pie......I'm leaning towards PNG.....it's the blood line, but I'm in one of those 'split families' so someone always wins at my house...........lol.......I'll be hearing "Poor little indian boys" all week.........LOL......If NED wins.....all year.........GO INDIANS!!!!.......save me...... ;D
MikeEast Posted October 6, 2007 Report Posted October 6, 2007 Well, I see the same thing you do Penny. But I think PNG is better than they have been in the last several years and they have not peaked yet. Its going to be a great game this year I think, I have mixed emotions about missing this one. I think this could be a special year for the Dogs. A year like we have not yet seen in Neumanns career.
NewIndian Posted October 6, 2007 Report Posted October 6, 2007 Hopefully we have Tenzeno back and hes the leader at picks, Wright really had a breakout game tonight.Looks like lcm fell apart they said teammembers were yelling at each other on the sideline, esp driver yelling at his WRs, thats not good
bulldawg64 Posted October 6, 2007 Report Posted October 6, 2007 YES WE HAVE TO WIN, I LIVE IN PORT NECHES AND MARRIED A INDIAN I WILL GET RAGGED ON FROM MY NEIGHBORS AND THE IN- LAWS WHAT A BUMMER IT WOULD BE!! GO DOGS
Guest Penny Posted October 6, 2007 Report Posted October 6, 2007 I think you're right... scary to think that many of they key cogs in the wheel are sophs/juniors... we are in for a treat the rest of this year and several years to come. Â Have you caught up with the 9th/8th grade teams... more big time talent coming down the pipe. Â Let's just enjoy this while it lasts.
MikeEast Posted October 6, 2007 Report Posted October 6, 2007  Have you caught up with the 9th/8th grade teams... more big time talent coming down the pipe.  Let's just enjoy this while it lasts.Yep I sure have. Saw some great games this week. I saw one that scared me too. Centrals JV is awesome. Big and so fast I could not believe it. They are going to be really good next year. REALLY good. Anyway, back to MCM.. Go DOGS!!
NewIndian Posted October 6, 2007 Report Posted October 6, 2007 You know it some great talent coming up next year, and even more down the line my sons peewee tackle team is 4-1 along with 4 other teams, the jr tackle team is great along withe the Sr team losing only once in PNG countrythe next couple of years are gonna be fun
NorthoftheBorder Posted October 6, 2007 Report Posted October 6, 2007 I taking PNG in a close one that may go down as one of the all time classics in the rivalry.Â
besbolbenbedygud Posted October 6, 2007 Report Posted October 6, 2007 talkin' bout talent.....A guy I work with lives in Nederland and said his wife is pregnant and the baby kicks like Vinetieri...................class of 2026 is looking good!!............lol... ;D
