PURPLE 4EVER Posted October 6, 2007 Report Posted October 6, 2007 Halfway through my silence wager....By request of KFDM Coop I am posting my predictions / resultsWhat a week in 22-4A.CONGRATS GO TO THE BULLDOGS!!!A huge win over Central when many were picking them to loss.Can the Dogs enter into the state top 10 rankings this week???As usual Toups Graphics predicts 3 out of the 4 games correctly, including almost an EXACT prediction of the Dayton - Ozen game.Tomorrow by noon I will have the highlights of the Dayton Ozen game posted at...www.toupsgraphics.neptune.comCONGRATS TO ALL THE WINNING TEAMS THIS WEEK, AND GOOD LUCK TO EVERYBODY NEXT WEEK!Before my predictions / results are copied, let me leave you with this thought...Half Time concessions at Bulldog Stadium this week = $10The football needed to play the game = about $60Instruments needed to play Cherokee while over 6,000 Indian fans sing and clap in unison = at least $10,000The new jumbotron scoreboard to enjoy the instant replay = at least 5 digitsTickets to get into the game = PRICELESS!!!Now then...My predictions and results...DISTRICT 22-4A WEEK 2TOUPS GRAPHICS FEARLESS PREDICTIONSGAME OF THE WEEKNEDERLAND AT CENTRALTHE PREDICTIONThe undefeated Bulldogs travel to the Babe to take on the Jaguars. This will be the best team Nederland has played since the Brenham game. Look for Central to finally be the team to apply some pressure to the Bulldog QB and force the Bulldogs into some offensive mistakes. Central's speed advantage will not only benefit their defense, but their offense will get a few big plays on the way to a Jaguar win. The Jaguars take this and go to 2 and 0 in district play.TOUPS GRAPHIC'S FEARLESS PREDICTIONCENTRAL 21 NEDERLAND 14************** THE RESULT *************Nederland remains undefeated and stands a chance to enter the state top 10 rankings. The Bulldogs are rolling and are playing excellent football going into this weeks HUGE PN-G vs Nederland game. The winner of that game stands to be in first place all alone. Central on the other hand will be playing for their post season lifes against UNDEFEATED Lumberton next week. A Central loss could put them into a valley they may not be able to climb out of. Congrats to Nederland on a very convincing win at the Babe.FINAL SCORENEDERLAND 40 CENTRAL 29LC-M AT PN-GTHE PREDICTIONThe Battlin Bears visit the Reservation and will find some Indians who have been looking foward to this game since their humilation last year. Look for the Indians to keep the LCM offense out of the endzone till the 4th quarter. PN-G's running game will end up finding pay dirt twice. The Indians scalp the Bears in a low scoring game.TOUPS GRAPHIC'S FEARLESS PREDICTIONPN-G 14 LC-M 7************** THE RESULT *************PN-G moved the woodshed from LC-M and got their vengeance on the Bears. Word is that on Monday there will be a new Bear rug in the main foyer at PN-G. PN-G has had three very impressive victories in a row and is eagerly awaiting the HUGE Nederland game this week. Can Burnett finally get the upper hand in this game? As for LC-M, they better hope for some teams to lose. LC-M still has Dayton, Nederland, and Lumberton to play. Winning all three is highly unlikely, although look for the Bears to win one of them and play spoiler.FINAL SCOREPN-G 41 LC-M 13LUMBERTON AT VIDORTHE PREDICTIONThe Raiders are riding high after one of the biggest wins in school history. The undefeated Raiders visit the Pirates who are struggling. Look for the Raiders to scuttle the Pirate offense. After 5 games Toups Graphics predicts the Raiders defense will give up a grand total of 7 points! VERY IMPRESSIVE. The Raiders win and stay undefeated while the Pirates season slips away into the red tide.TOUPS GRAPHIC'S FEARLESS PREDICTIONLUMBERTON 28 VIDOR 0************** THE RESULT *************Lumberton doesn't get the predicted shut out, but Toups Graphics accurately predicts the 4 touchdown difference. Lumberton is 5 and 0 and is riding high going into the Central game. A win next week will put the Raiders so very close to their first playoff game. As for the Pirates, the ship is sinking fast and there isn't enough life boats. Next week the Pirates go to Liberty County to take on the resurgent Broncos.FINAL SCORELUMBERTON 33 VIDOR 14OZEN AT DAYTONTHE PREDICTIONLook out Panthers. A QB change for the Broncos will ignite a dormant offense. Look for the Bronco offense to start firing at a rapid pace while the Bronco defense plays a strong game that shuts down the Panthers to a dance of 1 2 3 PUNT. Also look for the Broncos to get a TD on a punt return. The Broncos win going away while the Panthers continue to struggle.TOUPS GRAPHIC'S FEARLESS PREDICTIONDAYTON 35 OZEN 0************** THE RESULT *************Toups Graphics almost exactly predicts this score. The Broncos new QB guides the offense to a big win while AJ made some huge plays at receiver. The defense stiffened when Ozen got inside the 20 twice and turned away the Panthers. The Broncos didn't get a punt return for a TD, but did get a fumble recovery for a TD on the last play to make the 5 touchdown shut out prediction become reality. Look for the Broncos to dispose of the Pirates next week and move up the standings in district. As for the Panthers, they ran the ball well but stalled inside the 20. Can the Panthers rally and win another game this year?FINAL SCOREDAYTON 33 OZEN 0LOOKING AHEAD...2 GAMES WILL BE HUGE NEXT WEEKThe PN-G vs Nederland game will be played in front of the largest crowd this year in this part of the state. A college like atmosphere will be present and this will be one of the top games to attend in the whole state of Texas (if you can get a ticket). Look for the winner to almost be a lock for the playoffs while the loser will need to win at least one or two more big games. Nederland has Central out of the way, and with PN-G closing with Central and Dayton, the tribe will be under more pressure to win this game. Unfortunately for the Indians, Neumann owns this series, and the Bulldgos are playing with huge confidence. LET THE MCM BEGIN!!!Elsewhere...Central will be playing for their postseason lifes. A loss to Lumberton might just put the dagger into the heart. This game should be larger for Lumberton than the Dayton game. A win here will be huge. Lumberton will have wins over Central and Dayton, last years #1 and #2 teams. What a great week this will be in South East Texas!
