You think they'll miss thomas??? What about Durant? Not too many people had an opportunity to shine with him on the floor.

it's tough to tell.  some of the talent wasn't on display last year, that's for sure.  who knows how well some of the backups and new freshman will fill in.

Augustin from the boot is lights out. In my opinion, he's the best player that UT has this year unless one of the freshman is better. I watched him last year and he is going to be an elite player.

Augustine is the catalyst... by far the best player and all the other guys are solid..  Thomas is on the way to being cleared and he is an animal.  Augustine can be lights out from the arc, hopefully his short game is better this year.  Conner has improved every yerar.  Pittman will be a star one day, his work ethic proves it.  Mason will be better as well as the new big men.  But! Watch out for Damion James...  He might be the best player... This kid averaged 26 pts, 11 rebounds, and 9 blocks a game as a senior in high school!  As he gets more comfortable at the three position he could honestly be the best play they have!!!

If there starters from this year stay till next year Texas WILL win a national championship

Ha Ha Ha. . .I am an aggie supporter and I think the Big 12 is extremely competitive. But no Big 12 team will ever win a basketball national championship as long as the ACC and the SEC are in existence. Those divisions have a monopoly on mens college basketball.

I think Kansas has a legit shot at winning a national championship

AHA Point taken. . .Kansas has slipped my mind. I would agree with you on that one. They definitely have a chance at it depending on th year. They still normally get edged out in the end, but you are correct on the legitimacy of their chances.

I somewhat agree with you, but i'd say that over the past five years Texas, aTm, and Kansas have all had teams capable of winning a championship.  Now i certainly agree with you that it might not have been likely, but they all had teams that could've beaten anyone at anytime.  (also, wasn't OK State really good for awhile?)

The PAC 10 and Big East will be better than the SEC and the ACC this year...  The SEC, PAC10, ACC, Big East, and Big ten all have 10 total championships with the Big twelve only owning 4!  It is the Big 12 time soon!

Yeah and MSU got beat by Grand Valley, and your wife probably turned ya down the first time you asked her out. It's still early. . .they're gonna get theirs. When you see me start a "GO KATS" post at the end of the season when they are in the final 4 don't be afraid to come eat some crow!

    • Are you really gonna talk about decorum from a President while supporting the guy who effectively has no such decorum? Just last night the former president (and would-be despot) was in Arizona talking with Tucker Carlson and fantasized about Liz Cheney in front of a firing squad… after calling her dumb, of course.     Trump didn’t just “defecate all over the office of the President”…. He is a piece of excrement.
    • I personally hope PN-G gets 2nd gets to the 2nd round wins the flip against SOC and drag them them to Houston to play
    • I like option number two, PNG and Nederland both win. Nederland i’ll be the district champion, number 1 seed or whatever you want to call it. Yes I know that if two or three teams tie with the same record, they will be called co-champions and everyone gets a trophy. One team however will go in as the first place team in district and will play the fourth place team in the bi-district round. If PNG and Nederland both win, Nederland will be #1. • Virginia has same day voter registration. A person can literally walk in to the voting location, register and then vote. So the premise that Virginia might be stopping people with a legitimate right to vote is nonsense. From what I gather in the news report, assuming that the ones I have read are correct, the people that were removed, filled out a drivers license registration and marked that they were not an American citizen. Could the person have made a mistake bychecking the box incorrectly? Although unlikely it is certainly possible. That same person who was removed can go into the same voting location where he would have voted and again, complete a voter registration and then vote.  That went into the Supreme Court’s decision.  If such a person votes by registering on election day, he fills out a provisional ballot. Provisional ballots are not originally counted and or not counted unless needed. For example….  Statewide there are 500 provisional ballots cast. A person wins the election by 4,000 votes. That would be no need to count the provisional ballots as it will not matter. Then let’s say there are 5,000 provisional ballots cast in the election. One candidate then wins the election by only 1,500 votes. In that case, the election could definitely swing on those provisional ballots. The state will then investigate each person to make sure they live at the correct address listed and that they are American citizens. If these things are correct, the vote will then be counted. Safe Harbor is not untillll…… I think December 17th this year so there will be six weeks to verify the provisional ballots if needed. The purging of the names of people who checked a state form saying that they were not an American citizen, will not stop that same person from voting.
