By far this is the weakest team that I have seen under Coach Wise while at Yates. It’s the Big Man and the misfits. This team is averaging double digits in turn overs, and teams are breaking the press like a hot knife going through butter. Beating LC-M by 33 was a little bit of a surprise but the game was at Yates.

I’m getting a similar scouting report.  If you have above average guard play, you should have a lot of success offensively.  Of course, it still forces you into a pace that Wise wants to play if you don’t slow it down once you break it.  And you still have to contend with the big.  Even with it maybe being the weakest Yates team we’ve seen in a long while, I wouldn’t be surprised to see them win the region again.  You gotta think with all the new faces getting the minutes, they are going to be a lot more experienced (and better) come playoff time.

Jack Yates 111, LCM 78

LCM: 17, 22, 20, 16
Y: 39, 25, 20, 27

Jesse Doucette 24, Ben Elliott 24, Carson Peet 13, Miguel Molina 10/11.

Bears fall to 7-7 and will take five days off before playing at East Chambers on Monday.

And while this Yates version might not be as talented as some others in the past, they have a good shot at getting out of the region.  They knocked down 15 3's today and have size and depth.  It was a good experience for us and we appreciate Coach Wise and company's hospitality.

No, Popovich has testicular fortitude.  And he is all about the players.  If ever there was a coach who would be highly disappointed in Huffman-type votes, it would be Gregg Popovich.

This is true. The rest of the H town schools would be protesting if Pop showed up to play with a hand picked team 😳😂😂😂
