alot of schools have a film watching session at the booster club meeting..some coaches will answer questions there

There was an attempt to start a booster club at PNG and Matt Burnett shot it down! Go figure, whats the motive for that.

Because the booster clubs and the people that run them are pigs and give coaches headaches. Everyone of them are good for nothing and nothing but suckups to the staff. Good for Coach B and get off his back and maybe you will win a championship. Biggest problem with you PNG folks are that you need let the man alone.

It is important to note that Coach B has plenty of money coming in from the refineries.  Towns like Vidor have a very low tax base and depend on boosters for alot of their money.  There is a huge difference in the tax revenue.

A coach doesn't HAVE to explain ANYTHING to the school board on how/why he made a call/decision/etc. If the school board doesn't trust that the coach knows the right thing to do and has a reason for doing it, then they certainly can fire him, but they have NO RIGHT to question his decisions on the field (in HIS CLASSROOM). When the school board has studied the game as much as a coach has, then he may participate in a civil discussion about how the game went, but no right to question his calls. Fire him if you don't like it. Otherwise, leave him alone and let him do his job.

The school board has no right to hire or fire the AD.  The only person that the school board can legally hire/fire  is the superintendent.

Well, let's not call it "hire and fire". . . let's call it "renewing one's contract". If the school  baord gets enough complaints from the fan/taxpayers, and there are obvious probs with the win-los ratio, complaints from players/students, immoral character, etc., the school board can certainly recommend to the super that the coach be let go or his contract not be renewed. However, I repeat, that the school board, nor the superintendent has a right to question play-calling by the coaches (In ANY sport). If someone is at a school where that happens, they need to get out QUICK! It's not right and it's not the norm.

Maybe in Vidor.  In Ned the Super can recommend changes in personell, but only the Board can fire people.
