Bobcatfan4life Posted May 15, 2006 Author Report Posted May 15, 2006 I'm surprised that there are 5 votes so far and none for East Chambers.
KFDM COOP Posted May 15, 2006 Report Posted May 15, 2006 No kidding...I would say them and Anahuac fighting it out for first.
DP#1FAN Posted May 15, 2006 Report Posted May 15, 2006 ec is the team until someone beats them plain and simple.
Bobcatfan4life Posted May 16, 2006 Author Report Posted May 16, 2006 I think Deweyville will make some noise this year.
KFDM COOP Posted May 16, 2006 Report Posted May 16, 2006 They could, I hear Coach Bickham has them working hard.
DP#1FAN Posted May 16, 2006 Report Posted May 16, 2006 Coach Bickham and his staff have done a great job with our off-season program. This will be the fastest and strongest team Deweyville has ever put on the field. The one great thing that has happen is that the kids KNOW they can compete in this district.
Bobcat55 Posted May 16, 2006 Report Posted May 16, 2006 do not overlook Buna. Do not let the 0-9 season fool you, they are much better and they feel they have something to prove moving down to 2a. I not saying they should win the whole thing because of that, but do not think for a minute that they are going to be 0-9 again this year.
KFDM COOP Posted May 16, 2006 Report Posted May 16, 2006 I think Buna has a chance for the Playoffs..
Bobcatfan4life Posted May 16, 2006 Author Report Posted May 16, 2006 1. East Chambers 2. Anahuac 3. Deweyville
Bobcat55 Posted May 16, 2006 Report Posted May 16, 2006 1. Anahuac 2. Buna 3. East Chambers or Deweyville
whsalum Posted May 17, 2006 Report Posted May 17, 2006 Dont overlook Warren this season. They graduated some of their offensive lineman but most of their skill players are back. They will have a solid QB in Granger and one of the best RB in the distict in Esway a first team all district WR in Word and almost the entire defense.Did Deweyville graduate their QB?I know Thomas will be back at E/C so they should be the favorites. My picks: E/C Anahuac Warren-Deweyville (toss up) Buna Hardin Kountze
DP#1FAN Posted May 17, 2006 Report Posted May 17, 2006 No doubt it will be a good district to keep a eye on. It could be one of those that will be decided the last week of play.
Bobcatfan4life Posted May 18, 2006 Author Report Posted May 18, 2006 Dont overlook Warren this season. They graduated some of their offensive lineman but most of their skill players are back. They will have a solid QB in Granger and one of the best RB in the distict in Esway a first team all district WR in Word and almost the entire defense. :iag Warren will be good.
Bobcatfan4life Posted May 31, 2006 Author Report Posted May 31, 2006 This district opens up with these matchups: Buna at Anahuac Hardin at Deweyville Kountze at Warren East Chambers has a bye
KFDM COOP Posted June 3, 2006 Report Posted June 3, 2006 Will Buna make the top 3?? I think they have a shot.
whsalum Posted June 3, 2006 Report Posted June 3, 2006 I know Buna was in a brutal district last year, but I dont see a playoff caliber team yet.Ithink the top 2 spots are E/C and Anauhac and the fnal spot will be a toss up between Deweyville and Warren. Both of them made the playofs last year and have lots of returning starters.Winning the ones they should win at home and injuries will determine how this last playoff spot turns out.JMO
ESPN Posted June 8, 2006 Report Posted June 8, 2006 Buna will get in 3rd. They have several starters back and are finally in 2A.
KFDM COOP Posted June 8, 2006 Report Posted June 8, 2006 Buna has Anahuac right off the bat to start District.
