Ty Cobb Posted May 15, 2006 Report Posted May 15, 2006 Joel Schooling of Silsbee. If you saw their playoff series with Barbers Hill you know why.
TigerMom Posted May 15, 2006 Report Posted May 15, 2006 Joel Schooling of Silsbee. You never see Joel get upset, just goes out to the mound and gets the job done. Has done a great job in helping Silsbee have a stellar season. Some of Joel's stats: He is 11-4 for the season. He pitched two complete games in the playoff series against Barbers Hill. In Game 1 - 7 IP; Allowed 7 hits; 9 K's; 1 BB - Got the win. In Game 3 - 6 IP; Allowed 4 hits; 7 K's; 0 BB - Got the loss.

Had a no hitter in that game going to the bottem of the 6th! 12-0 last year as a sophmore and 6-1 as a freshman! ( only loss coming to Sulpher, La )
NeDeRlAnD b-DoG fAn Posted May 16, 2006 Report Posted May 16, 2006 Matison Smith (senior) = Nederland's Ace 8-3 on the year
Guest BC#1Fan Posted May 21, 2006 Report Posted May 21, 2006 The pitcher of the year would have to go to Kevin Angelle in the 3A ranks he is a very big reason that Big Red is state ranked at #1. In the 4A ranks I haven't seen him pitch but i'll say Clayton Ellert of LC-M.
