jdawg03 Posted May 15, 2006 Report Posted May 15, 2006 please nominate the outfielders who performed exceptionally this year....please include stats, the class of the player, team, and any other relevant information
TigerMom Posted May 15, 2006 Report Posted May 15, 2006 Rocky Calhoun of Silsbee. Made some great catches this year. Also, has to be mentioned, got his nose broken in the final game with Jasper in early part of the game, but came back to complete the game with his team. Great Athlete!!
Ty Cobb Posted May 15, 2006 Report Posted May 15, 2006 I would like to nominate the entire outfield from Silsbee. Good speed from left to right. Not many balls hit the ground with this group. Seen some amazing catches from this outfield this year.
BigTuna Posted May 15, 2006 Report Posted May 15, 2006 Tyeler Benson RF from HJ. 1 error I believe in 30 games. Hit over .400 all year in the 2 hole. Senior.
MIF04 Posted May 15, 2006 Report Posted May 15, 2006 Add to the list: Serna @ WB - .398 for season and .385 in district. Armstrong @ WB - .390 for season and .350 in district. Mosley @ Nederland - no stats on him. Johnson @ HF - surprised no one nominated him yet.
adminbaberuth Posted May 15, 2006 Report Posted May 15, 2006 Ones seen Dishon.......BC Johnson.....HF
shsucat Posted May 15, 2006 Report Posted May 15, 2006 Rocky Calhoun - Silsbee No errows all year! over .400 for the year!
wehc17 Posted May 16, 2006 Report Posted May 16, 2006 Trevor Rainey - Woodville Simply one of the best in the area 1 thru 5 A! Will most likely represent Woodville in the THSBCA All-Star Game!
NeDeRlAnD b-DoG fAn Posted May 16, 2006 Report Posted May 16, 2006 Micah Mosely (Junior) of Nederland -1 HR and not sur how many RBIs -he made some incredible plays in OF. -Had the game winning 2 RBIs in the bottom of the 10th vs rival PNG
Hawk1 Posted May 16, 2006 Report Posted May 16, 2006 We had the unfortunate oppotunity to see these three fine young men in action this year. All of them are deserving. 1. Joey Johnson-HF 2. Clayton Ehlert-LCM 3. Johnny Dishon-BC (Even as good as he is on the BSb field he's even more impressive on the Fb field) It was a pleasure watching these young men play this year.
birdmascot Posted May 22, 2006 Report Posted May 22, 2006 Definitely Trevor Rainey of Woodville.... I love TITO
trhargrave05 Posted May 25, 2006 Report Posted May 25, 2006 rocky calhoun at silsbee.....played vs jasper with a broken nose and still scored 3 runs....it's a no brainer.
