jdawg03 Posted May 15, 2006 Report Posted May 15, 2006 Please nominate players for pitcher of the year here...Be sure and include stats, team, class standing, and any other relevant information....
CRUSHCOACH Posted May 15, 2006 Report Posted May 15, 2006 CODY TRAHAN (If she doesn't get the MVP) For her stats check out the MVP nomination. She is the most dominant Pitcher not only in this area but in the entire State. I can't imagine anyone being better than she is.
OldSchool98 Posted May 16, 2006 Report Posted May 16, 2006 is this topic really up for discussion... CODY TRAHAN without a doubt!
adminbaberuth Posted May 17, 2006 Report Posted May 17, 2006 Haven't seen the LCM pitcher but she must be pretty good. Did watch Nederland and BC earlier and both pitchers were excellent. I believe it was 1-0 Nederland as the Trojack kid hit a HR to win it.
Guest Jody Posted May 19, 2006 Report Posted May 19, 2006 Chandler Hall from Barbers Hill. She has already thrown 2 shut-outs in the post season and has won all three games pitched. She Struck out 23 hitters in 11 innings. She is a Sophmore!
CRUSHCOACH Posted May 19, 2006 Report Posted May 19, 2006 Chandler Hall may be good but she ain't a CODY TRAHAN !!!!
TigerCoach Posted May 22, 2006 Report Posted May 22, 2006 What about Alex Mitchell from Lumberton? She is only a freshman though.
sbfan4life Posted May 22, 2006 Report Posted May 22, 2006 r we talkin local kids? if not Cody - Elena Clinton - BC - she finished her district as Co-MVP and an ERA of .16 overall I think her ERA was a stunning .59!
JohnnyT60 Posted May 23, 2006 Report Posted May 23, 2006 Tiger Coach, Alex is very good, but not ready to be mentioned with this group just yet. She would however be my freshman of the year, if we were naming one. I believe in one or two years she will be something special, but like you said she is only a freshman, just give her time.
bigred75 Posted May 23, 2006 Report Posted May 23, 2006 Clinton did pitch well this year, even against LCM she did not give up much except for that botched 1st inning which was errors not her fault. I think she is very deserving with the numbers she put up this year. She stepped it up for BC and took care of Business.
Champion Posted May 24, 2006 Report Posted May 24, 2006 Tiger Coach' date=' Alex is very good, but not ready to be mentioned with this group just yet. JohnnyT60 Posted May 24, 2006 Report Posted May 24, 2006 It is really hard to say, There aren't really any common opponents. They are both very good for freshman.
CRUSHCOACH Posted May 24, 2006 Report Posted May 24, 2006 In my opinion, having seen both for several years, they are both equal in talent and ability. Both are going to be awesome pitchers and they should be very fun to watch. Both are deserving to share the award. Rebekka has done a good job even with the handicap she has for a coach ! :ROFL
CRUSHCOACH Posted May 24, 2006 Report Posted May 24, 2006 That's obvious, considering she hasn't had one in years !
smartguy Posted May 24, 2006 Report Posted May 24, 2006 gotta throw sam cummings from shepherd in the mix...i dont know her record but i know her era was like .78 or something like that...shepherd and barbers hill would probably still be playing that game if it werent for the error
Champion Posted May 25, 2006 Report Posted May 25, 2006 Sam Cummings can go! She shut down some good teams!
