HSFootball69
I have heard that Bridge City has like 3-4 Offensive and/or Defensive starters injured. Do you think this could be a reason for the losing season?
WOS92
Absolutely not. If it's true, it might be the reason for the MARGIN of loss, but when you've lost four of your six games by a combined score of 220-23, you would have lost them even with a few extra key players. BC is just way down this year.
HSFootball69
true, i guess we will have to wait until next year to really find out.
WOS92
Total points are 276 against and 74 for BC. HF has 160 points for (allowed 111), Orangefield has 96 (allowed 193), Jasper has 146 (allowed 110), WO-S has 169 (allowed 43), Kirbyville has 169 (allowed 140), HJ has 79 (allowed 196) and Silsbee has 165 (allowed 206). BC has allowed 70 point more than the second-softest defense (Silsbee, point-wise) and scored five fewer points than the second most impotent offense (and 22 fewer than the third most impotent). If it's true about injuries being that big of a factor, they would have to be on both sides of the ball and in greater numbers than could go unnoticed even by non-BC fans. I've heard nothing about significant injuries.

Sterling 32Silsbee 0 PNG 43Silsbee 21 Newton 41Silsbee 42 Orangefield 0Silsbee 55 BC 7Silsbee 14 HF 35Now by my calculations, that's 166 points scored and 158 points allowed. Just wondering

exbccards76smom
We had 5 players out Friday night, and about 9 by the time the game was over. Maybe conditioning is the big question now.

WOS92
Don't blame me. Blame the cackamalater. My bad. But, if you'll re-check your math, you got it wrong, too. Silsbee scored 165.
