A lot of the WMA in texas are included in the hunting areas.If you buy your permit at the TPWD office you get your map books right then, otherwise you have to wait and get them in the mail.

tvc184 Posted October 23, 2007 Report Posted October 23, 2007 Type II is the way to go if you don't have a lease. Typical day/trophy hunts are way too expensive unless you just have a few thousand dollars laying around not doing anything.
