DUDE - This is WAY cool!

I LOVE the statistical or mathematical rankings because it takes the human element out of the equation - Like picking WO-S to win every game just because your zip code is or was 77630 .  Instead, you can NOW pick WO-S because the numbers SAY to pick WO-S, and with the proof supplied by the past results, you've proven the math works!

Keep it up!  and THANKS!

(and I only use WO-S as an example - I'm a Bridge City Cardinal fan - since WO-S is in the #1 slot..........)

The statistical numbers didn't work to well on the HF Vs Jasper game.  But then again Jasper just isnt a statistical team ;D ;D ;D

but I thinks its great (the stats that is)

I agree the stats went out the window on that game. Man you guys have a good looking team.

I still find it hard to believe that Jasper has 3 losses. I bet it was more of the Dawgs beating themselves

than there opponent. I think if Jasper can play error free ball they can knock off WOS. As for the Horns

they need to regroup and win out.

Enough people have been requesting that I continue posting them so here goes...  It took a while to get the perfect fit this week because I had a couple of typos entering the data and I just now found where I went wrong.  I'm still at work so I'm posting it a bit differently right now.... The link is to an Excel spreadsheet I've saved online.  Hopefully everyone that's interested will be able to see it.  I'll post the same format as last week if there are people who can't access this format.  I've included the individual ratings for each game datapoint so you can see the actual numbers that went in to each rating.  The game ratings are listed for each team in chronological order from left to right (starting with Game 1, Game 2, etc.).  And once again, ONLY games between two 3A opponents are included which is why some teams have 10 games averaged in and some have as few as 4 or 5.  This weeks ratings include the results of every game played between two 3A opponents during the 2007 regular season.
