Just looking at scores on here and thought this was interesting.

Points For and Against (4 district games)

WO-S  154-22

Common Opponents : HJ and Silsbee

BC 40    HJ 0                              WO-S  42    HJ 0

BC 20    Silsbee 14                      WO-S  28    Silsbee 16

Other Games

Should make for an interesting game, which I believe is the last game of the season.

Should be a great matchup. Last year as 7th graders these 2 teams were undefeated going into their last game. BC was able to pull it out with a 20-0 win at WOS. Best thing BC has going for them is it will be at BC this year.

This will be a very good game. From a Silsbee fan view. Silsbee & BC was a better played game, than Silsbee  & WOS.  Alot of turn overs in the WOS game. WOS does have  very good special teams. I think they scored 16 points on their special teams against Silsbee.

BC vs WO-S 8th Grade looks like it will be a great District Championship game.

In District play this looks like the standings:

BC scored 172                    WO-S scored 184

BC allowed 14                    WO-S allowed 22

Difference of 4 points in the Mustangs favor

What about pre-season? 

BC 50

Lumberton 0

BC 39

Mauriceville 0

** BC has only allowed 14 points (all points allowed in the Silsbee game)

**WO-S has allowed 22 points (in district. Not sure about pre-season?)

Let me clarify about this Bridge City 8th Grade Football team:

This year's 8th Grade football team won District as 7th Graders last year and they won District as 8th Graders THIS year!  

BACK TO BACK DISTRICT CHAMPIONSHIPS!!!  THE SAME GROUP OF BOYS 2 YEARS IN A ROW.

This same group of boys,  as 7th graders, not only won EVERY football game last year in 7th Grade, and now again in 8th Grade, they also won EVERY basketball game they played last year, including all tournaments.

This same group of boys as 7th Graders also won EVERY track meet they participated in, including the District Meet.  

So when I said District Champs 7th & 8th Grade, I meant THIS TEAM of football players are DISTRICT CHAMPS as 7th Graders and 8th Graders.  

This is a very talented group of young men.  Bridge City has a bright future.
