Guest Kelly Football Posted October 19, 2007 Report Posted October 19, 2007 Stadium sound systems, good and bad Just wondering what football stadiums have good sound systems and which ones have terrible sound systems?
MikeEast Posted October 19, 2007 Report Posted October 19, 2007 Stadium sound systems, good and bad Just wondering what football stadiums have good sound systems and which ones have terrible sound systems? The new scoreboard and sound system at Nederland is in a totally different class. There is nothing that even comes close within 80 miles. LCM has a good sound system and a nice scoreboard too, I would say they are heads above the rest as well. Silsbee is pretty decent too. The worst ones are the ones you cannot hear. I think that the Lumberton, Central and WB systems need some work. Seems like Vidor is pretty bad from the visitors side too. I have not been to any of the small schools recently.
exbccards76smom Posted October 20, 2007 Report Posted October 20, 2007 Very good sound system: Silsbeevery bad sound system: Hardin Jefferson, but it was better that last year
SETXsports Broadcaster Posted October 20, 2007 Report Posted October 20, 2007 Jasper has a very bad sound system. Looks like old car speakers hanging from telephone poles ;D
Guest WeedBegone Posted October 20, 2007 Report Posted October 20, 2007 WB uses the same speaker that RADAR O'Reiley and Corporal Klinger used on M.A.S.H which dates it back to the mid 50's.Seriously, they are the same ones we had when i graduated in 76 and they looked and sounded old then.BUT I BET ANY OF YOUR CHEAP LITTLE SCHOOL DISTRICTS THAT OUR SUPERINTENDANT HAS A BETTER SOUND SYSTEM IN HIS CAR THAN YOURS---GO BISD ;D ;D
dme1111 Posted October 20, 2007 Report Posted October 20, 2007 Glad PNG will be getting a new one because the old sound system was not to good last night
