All you guys have to do is catch the ball before you take off running.Ā  It's a mind thing.Ā  Your body's reaction is to run as soon as you catch, but your brain is thinking faster; therefore, you get the dropped passes.Ā  I watched it over and over in the last game.Ā  You have to tell yourselfĀ  to receive first, then run.Ā  You will do just fine!!!

I'm still hoping the Pirates will step up and play. I really believe they have some athletes, they're just not putting it all together. That being said, PNG seems to always have their "ducks in a row".

PNG-28

Vidor-14

I'm pulling for ya Pirates...and yes, halftime with lights out is pretty cool.

off subject but i just have to say this... dayton has no class what so ever. coming to our school and spray painting obscene things on their and spraying pn-gay 0 dayton 50. no clas at all. of course i realized this last year after the game when they played us. we had a bad team i know. and they talked so much crap to us after the game starting fights with fans.. what are they taught over their?

Thanks to whoever did it they just P.O.dĀ  the team now

I don't know how the PNG stadium sets up as far as fans coming in contact with players etc. But the broncos usually shake hands and then jog directly off the field to the bus or fieldhouse depending on rather the game is home or away. I'd like to know a little more info on them picking fights. someone pm me.

Oh yeah.....PNG by 3 tds.

The Dayton players would have to exit near one of our parking areas to get to the field house they use. That being said, I was not there last year in that spot so I cannot verify anyone's claims either way. I find it unlikely players would be picking fights. A little jawing maybe, but not picking fights. Who cares, it was last year.

I would just like to say that our thoughts and prayers are with any of the friends or family of the young man that was killed in the accident last night.

Lumberton wishes you well!!

On the news it said how a Vidor Freshman crossing I-10 was struckĀ  by 2 vehicles and killed. I dont know any more than that, if it was true our prayers are with all involved!

I dont know if the kid plays dirty or if he is a good kid, but I do know he will kick, punch, step on you and knee you when you are on the ground. Oh yea and if he hears you boo him he will turn to the stands and give you some nice hand gestures. But I wouldnt say he is a dirty player, he probably showers!

As far as hand gestures to the crowd goes, i'd say thats inappropriate.Ā  But this is football.Ā  It is a physical game.Ā  I can't remember the last time I watched a football game and did not notice more than one occurrance of someone stepping on or punching someone.Ā  And, thats just what is noticed from the sidelines and stands.Ā  Who knows what is going on at the bottom of those piles.Ā  I guess Lumberton boys never go a little to far in getting physical with the opponent.

The Pirates are celebrating their homecoming. The best part of this game for the Pirate fans will be halftime. The Pirates nearly got a huge win last week over the Central Jaguars. Look for PN-G to come to Vidor and take care of business. This game won't be close as PN-G's running attack gains over 300 yards. PN-G wins by three touchdowns.

Hey Maverick quit being a cry baby. That game is in the past while there was some physical play in this game it was happening on both sides. Unless you were on the field playing in the game you dont know if the stuff you say happened are not. I was at the game and saw some pushing and shoving but nothing to the extent your claiming. I am sure I could find some Vidor players that would say L-town was doing the same thing. Its football! L-town won be happy and stop crying.

    • Bye Week beat Beaumont United by double digits so not all is bad šŸ˜
    • He made the comment as a business man he hated overtime. He never said or implied he wanted to do away with it. He has said overtime should not be taxed. That will benefit the refinery workers in our area big timeā€¦..as well as nurses. Not only would you not pay taxes and see the benefit immediately on your paycheck, my guess that at the end of the year, you would subtract all the overtime from your total wages, thus lowering your taxable imcome.
    • Well I thought it would be a better matchup for us more so than us versus yall and we got whooped šŸ¤·šŸ¾ā€ā™‚ļø we'll see, long time before Ball High meets Lufkin though.Ā
    • Very critical win for Crosby last night. At no point has the current regime given me any reason to think Crosby should be able to pencil in wins but for the sake of discussion I will for FB Kempner who we play two weeks from now and also Porter who we play a couple of weeks after that. That means if Crosby can beat Kingwood Park next week weā€™ll most likely finish district play 5-2 and in at least 3rd place.Ā  Ā  That being, the team could be a lot better if we had a competent offensive coach. Crosbyā€™s offensive philosophy is to give it to Yarbrough and hope he breaks it which is why we lose to team with above average defensive talent. Crosbyā€™s TE Landen Hammer is 6ā€™2ā€ and about 210lbs with crazy ball skills, an absolute mismatch problem and got one target last night. Friendswood realized Crosby had some playmakers on the edges and lots of times gave the receivers a 10 yard cushion. The problem is that Willis doesnā€™t know that so not once did we just raise up, throw it out to the receiver and give them an opportunity to be an athlete and make a play. So now that weā€™ve averaged 8 completions per game through our first four contest because 50% of the time Willis chooses to swap out 50% of the offense we look like we ā€œdonā€™t have the receiving talent that we used to.ā€ Yarbrough probably had close to 300 rushing yards last night but I wouldnā€™t be surprised if he had 35 carries. I like our backup RB but there are several kids who could help Crosby more at that position and Willis chooses not to play them there and feed Yarbrough to the point he couldnā€™t even finish the game last night. He continues to display an inability to efficiently use his personnel which is why we get blow out by any team with at least equal talent. Maybe something changes but Willis being 6-19 his last two and a half years on the sideline and his inability to shake the Cedar Park model donā€™t give much hope, which is unfortunate for the kids.Ā
    • Big girl is trying to make Oprah sound like Bam Morris, who was busted with 220# of weed in the trunk of his car. When the cops opened the truck and found the weed, Bam said,ā€Thatā€™s not mineā€. Give me a break.
