Boneyard Boys
Good action packed start to this one, WOS up 3 early.
Boneyard Boys
Mustangs hitting their shots, look like a different team from years past. Starting to pull away with the press defense and Vidor starting PG a little gimpy.
Boneyard Boys
22-12 WOS after 1, they look much improved from what I have seen the last 2 seasons. Pirates struggling with the press and getting beat on the boards.
Boneyard Boys
WOS with a half dunk sort of... bounced it off the backboard and it went in while hanging on the rim but it counted so it counts I guess.
Boneyard Boys
This WOS coach puts on a show... I thought the other guy was bad lol.
Boneyard Boys
37-24 WOS at halftime, Mustangs proving to be too much inside and also hitting their 3’s. Vidor had a chance to keep pace at the free throw line but they are shooting a horrible percentage.
Boneyard Boys
Good action packed game so far WOS press is stifling the Pirates some but when they break it there’s easy buckets on the other end. Vidor has to hit their free throws, rebound better and stop giving up offensive put backs.
Boneyard Boys
Pirates with a bunch of easy chances at the rim to cut it to single digits early in the second half but nothing doing 29-39 WOS midway through the 3rd.
Boneyard Boys
The Mustangs stopped pressing for some reason in the 3rd and the Pirates were able to cut the lead to single digits but they can’t buy a bucket at the rim the WOS 6’ 6” guy is defending the paint very well 47-34 after 3. Boneyard Boys
Man... 23 for WOS is all over the boards, he gets off the floor quick to the ball.
Boneyard Boys
51-40 in the 4th game turning into a bit of fast break back and forth action now.
Boneyard Boys
#23 appears to be the key for WOS maybe that’s what they’ve been missing a guy to take the ball and make things happen. 53-42 WOS 2:21 4th qtr
Boneyard Boys
57-49 WOS final they look pretty good, probably a playoff team this year. Good toughness from the Vidor PG playing hurt all game and a good game for #12 leading the Pirates with 16 points. The Pirates only true big fouled out in the 4th and then WOS really killed them on the boards. If Vidor could hit half of their free throws it would have came down to the end but that’s been a problem all year long. This isn’t a very good shooting team like they’ve had in the past, you don’t see that 3 ball go down nearly enough but they fight hard. Still think they sneak up on a team or two if they have a good shooting night, need to keep improving.

He’s pretty good, definitely draws the attention of the whole crowd to his team huddle during the timeouts so I’m sure he has the full attention of his players. I figured the person named DJ posting on here was a coach associated with West Orange, had no idea he was the head coach though lol.
Jack of All Trades
I've been saying Wilson is the real deal, a basketball guy in a football school. He makes it work because he loves the football kids and wants them to play football first. He's tuf but fair and his players feed off of his energy. I saw it with the girls last year and now no suprise with the boys this year. What I respect about him the most is that he is in the community with our young people. He's always at the school working with the youngsters. Crystall1974
