shooter Posted October 21, 2007 Author Report Posted October 21, 2007 STiger85,Thanks for the stats; good info.
cardinals4life Posted October 21, 2007 Report Posted October 21, 2007 By the Look of the stats above it looks like silsbee's QB should probley win
McLovin Posted October 21, 2007 Report Posted October 21, 2007 Jeremy Johnson does have some impressive stats. If Silsbee could have executed in the red zone against WOS, more people would agree with that. 8)

stangchain Posted October 21, 2007 Report Posted October 21, 2007 How about we let the season play out before we jump the gun on MVP?
STiger85 Posted October 21, 2007 Report Posted October 21, 2007 How about we let the season play out before we jump the gun on MVP?I agree with three games to go this is a little early. Go Tigers!!!
McLovin Posted October 22, 2007 Report Posted October 22, 2007 How about we let the season play out before we jump the gun on MVP?How about you don't post if you don't like the topic. 8)
SETXsports Broadcaster Posted October 22, 2007 Report Posted October 22, 2007 You also have to look at how many games each QB has played. Some only have 3 games
SkandarAkbar Posted October 22, 2007 Report Posted October 22, 2007 How about the same guy who is leading the district in rushing and scoring for the second straight year?#2 from Kirbyville
Guest kvillecheer Posted October 23, 2007 Report Posted October 23, 2007 How about the same guy who is leading the district in rushing and scoring for the second straight year?#2 from Kirbyvillehis name is Pierce Rhodes
k-villeballa Posted October 23, 2007 Report Posted October 23, 2007 his name is Pierce RhodesI agree!!!!!!!!!! I'm hoping he set a record on Silsbee!!!!!!!

If we are just comparing stats to stats, Dustin Breaux should be in the mix.1033 yards passing and 8 TD's and 365 yards rushing and 6 TD'sThat is a total of 1389 yards and 14 TD's and he has missed playing time in three of his games due to injury
STiger85 Posted October 24, 2007 Report Posted October 24, 2007 Those numbers were in the Houston paper at that time. Sorry. Maybe some of the other players numbers are wrong as well.
WOS92 Posted October 24, 2007 Report Posted October 24, 2007 If we are just comparing stats to stats, Dustin Breaux should be in the mix.1033 yards passing and 8 TD's and 365 yards rushing and 6 TD'sThat is a total of 1389 yards and 14 TD's and he has missed playing time in three of his games due to injuryAlso 10 INTs. I'd have a hard time - personally - electing an MVP from a winless team. Granted, it's not his fault, but his D has crippled his chances. At this point, my vote would go to Johnson from Silsbee, but it's close among those others listed. Hypolite will be an MVP one day, but he's still a bit raw and developing his "touch."
eagle12 Posted October 24, 2007 Report Posted October 24, 2007 Also 10 INTs. I'd have a hard time - personally - electing an MVP from a winless team. Hypolite will be an MVP one day, but he's still a bit raw and developing his "touch." another website - maxpreps.com has stats posted and it has Breaux with 15 int. I think it's not fair to the rest of the team to say it's not his fault. when receivers are open and it is directly thrown to the opposing team, there is no one else to blame. My vote goes to Johnson from Silsbee as well!
Guest car ramrod Posted October 24, 2007 Report Posted October 24, 2007 The season needs to played out because their are to many big games left. If it ended today, I would go with Rhodes @ mvp and the Silsbee QB would be the newcomer of the year. Offensive mvp would be between Bailey and DPG. Defensive mvp should be close. I think his name is Bell (real good lb) from WO-S, Burrell from H-F (free safety), Rhodes from KV (but he is the MVP), and #52 DL from Jasper should all be front runners.
grizzly62 Posted October 24, 2007 Report Posted October 24, 2007 If the season ended today Pierce Rhodes from kville also lookin very good and putting up alot of numbers is Aaaron Hazlewood from kville . ;D
