I don’t know what you do for a living, but do you think somebody who’s never been in that industry would waltz in and be the best fit for CEO/President of your company, or do you think it would be a little bit of a disaster?

I don’t think the politicians are doing the job they have been elected to do and I don’t like how they are performing. I want change. Can’t keep doing the same thing if you expect change. Therefore I voted for a non-lifetime politician.

True to an extent. Guys like Reagan (the former president, not the guy hunched over his keyboard, cackling while reading the latest “just wait until you see what Trump has up his sleeve” stories) was an actor as a young man, Carter was a Peanut Farmer, GW Bush worked in oil. But they all had some executive experience in politics before becoming president.

If you are a newly elected county commissioner or county judge in Texas who was sworn in on the first of this month, you’re expected to be in class tomorrow (1/11) in College Station for training, because you obviously have no idea what’s going on or what’s legal.  But we expect some guy who’s never even been a county commission to prance in and run the whole show. Having Trump as your president makes about as much sense as having him perform open heart surgery on you, just because you think most doctors are quacks.

Let’s not forget..

Trump inherited his money, he didn’t make his money. His dad saved him on numerous real estate deals. He is a trust fund baby who managed to BANKRUPT A CASINO.

Yikes. Always seem to the far right on this subforum always calling women names.. whores, fatties, etc.

Must be an underlying problem.. im guessing zero love and affection at home.

You have to admit that it’s a little disingenuous to celebrate the first woman elected as vp in our country who, by her own admission, slept with her superiors for political appointments early on. No reason to call her names, but it’s not something I’d want my daughters aspiring to.

So?

Kobe Bryant inherited his athleticism and we didn’t hold that against him. He still went out and worked and won those rings. Trump’s old man didn’t hand him all of those hotels, businesses and the presidency. He accomplished quite a bit on his own.

Seriously, though... as often as Trump’s companies filed for bankruptcy, I was surprised that  he had a problem folding up shop when it became obvious that he’d lost.

Whore : a person who engages in sexual intercourse for pay

I would say that describes her very accurately.

Really?

I’ll be honest with you.... I find a woman who slept around to benefit her career 30 years ago less displeasing than guys like Rudy Guiliani who are using their position of power to try and bang chicks who would never otherwise be willing so sleep with said old wrinkledy guy.

Why is the left so hung up on inherited money?  You do realize that a lot of wealthy people are that way because of inherited money.  I don’t get it.  Is the left jealous?

    • noticed that 99.99% of law enforcement sides with Trump? The part of the judicial system who disagrees with Trump is the prosecutors and judges….and it’s certainly not all of them either. Good thing he has the judges that really count on his side.
    • What news station do you watch?…..never mind.    What age are the children you take care of. Refugees from where? Are they in a hospital? Now children compared to criminals…..geeeez. The mayor of Denver and a few governors, including Newsom, have said they will not turn over incarcerated criminals to ICE. This is a felony. They are harboring criminals and fugitives. Gee, I’m so glad you want criminals protected. Anyone who crossed illegally into our country is a criminal. Happy Holidays to you and yours.
    • Sorry sir on my miss count. I was in hurry
    • Are they offering refuge to criminals? Or is it a Trump talking point? Refugees are people who leave their country due to unwarranted prosecution. I actually take care of 2 refugee kids who have complex medical needs   No, refugees are not criminals, and the assumption that they are more likely to be criminals than the general population is incorrect:                                                                                          Research shows immigrants commit crimes at lower rates Immigrants in the United States commit crimes at lower rates than the U.S.-born population, including unauthorized immigrants. This is true across immigrant groups.                  Immigration doesn't raise crime rates Immigrants don't raise crime rates in the communities where they settle. In fact, some studies suggest that immigration can lower crime rates, especially violent crime.                  Anti-immigration politicians have spread a myth Anti-immigration politicians have repeatedly tried to link immigrants to crime, but research shows this is a myth.                  Refugees don't cause crime in Turkey A study found that refugees don't have a causal effect on crime rates in Turkey. In fact, the study found that refugees may have a negative effect on crime rates per capita.
