I spoke to a teacher Friday night at the game that I knew and I asked her. She relayed that information to me. I still have not spoken to Coach Chip yet in order to ask him what his opinion is. When I do, you guys will be the first to know! ;D
82 5A State Champs Posted October 21, 2007 Report Posted October 21, 2007 It will be nice to get some of those other guys back, though. I counted only 36 players on the sidelines Friday night that were in pads. 36! I felt that at the beginning of the season that depth would be one of our biggest weaknesses. The amount of players on the sidelines the last two weeks made me thing WB was a small 4A team instead of a 5A team. Those numbers are gonna have to increase in order to be competitive. Admit it, playing a team like Katy or some of the other Houston area schools with 80-90 players on the sidelines is a little bit impressive and can do something mentally to a team that we might be facing.

Believe me, our guys WERE intimidated........they were beat, mentally, before the first quarter was over. You could see it in their play on the field. I just hope we're able to get back on track this week for PAM. Are you guys having a pep-rally this week?
Guest WBFan09 Posted October 21, 2007 Report Posted October 21, 2007 nah we only have them for games in BMT and all Playoff games... i think that we will be ready...the players wont have a very fun practice week though

We had way too many dropped balls Friday night! PASSING DRILLS!

82 5A State Champs Posted October 22, 2007 Report Posted October 22, 2007 nopass/no play?maybe just a couple.....we have a few others out with injuries. I think there were only like 45 on the original roster! Grades haven't really been an issue.
Yeoj Posted October 22, 2007 Report Posted October 22, 2007 I heard Albert's mom took him to a specialist to get a second opinion and the doctor told her to have the surgery and not let him play. You really can't blame her for looking out for her son. He has enough video footage to get a decent scholarship.
Guest WBFan09 Posted October 22, 2007 Report Posted October 22, 2007 ill take waiting to watch Albert at the next level over injuring him further any day of the week
82 5A State Champs Posted October 22, 2007 Report Posted October 22, 2007 I cant say as I blame her for wanting to be extra careful. We'll be allright, though!
kmwbmt Posted October 22, 2007 Report Posted October 22, 2007 your right 82 there were some good passes dropped. Got to get rid of the fumbles. Sterling did not have enough horses to hurt WB. A good team would have ran away from them.
